-- This week's episode of WWE NXT moved off of its normal day (Tuesday) due to the Presidential election and aired yesterday going head-to-head against AEW Dynamite, which aired in its usual day and time. NXT boosted its show by airing it from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia (formerly the ECW Arena) and brought back a few old school ECW wrestlers including RVD and Bubba Ray Dudley. As expected, many fans were interested in seeing how audience and ratings figures would stack up with the shows going against each other and now we know.
-- WWE's NXT show beat out AEW Dynamite, by averaging 619,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating in the key 18-49 demo. The viewership is actually up from last week when it aired on its regular day but is still the second lowest audience since the move to CW. The rating is up a whopping 21% from last week and is the best demo rating in almost a month.
-- Meanwhile AEW Dynamite averaged 523,000 viewers in its normal day and time. That’s down over 15% from last week and is the fourth lowest audience total in the history of the show. The 18-49 demo rating was 0.16, tying it for the lowest figure in that category in the history of the show.
