For those of you who want just the quick results and don't want the details of matches, this is a quick recap of tonight's show. There are spoilers for tonight's show below. The full results can be found right here.

Matches Tonight: 7
  • Our first match of the night was a Street Fight for the Tag Team Championship that saw champions Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan retain their titles against Killian Dain & Drake Maverick in an entertaining match.
  • In a match motivated by revenge, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Jake Atlas, avenging a loss from a few weeks ago.
  • Rhea Ripley defeated Dakota Kai. Afterwards, Raquel Gonzalez came to the ring and confronted Ripley.
  • "The Colossal" Bronson Reed returned to action after a few months, and defeated Ashonte "Thee" Adonis in a short match.
  • Leon Ruff defeated Timothy Thatcher with a roll-up, catching him by surprise. After the match, Thatcher attempted to attack Ruff but Tommaso Ciampa made the save and challenged thatcher to a "Fight Pit" at New Year's Evil.
  • Tyler Rust, coached by Malcolm Bivens, defeated Daivari by submission in a short but solid match.
  • In our main event, Adam Cole defeated Velveteen Dream in a very exciting, must-watch match that showcased both men's athleticism and ring skill.

.

Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments:
  • "A Very Gargano Christmas" featured the hanging of stockings for all four members of The Way (their new faction name), putting a Johnny Gargano ornament on the tree, and giving out gifts. Austin Theory was gifted a large container of protein powder by Gargano, who said it'd help him be as good as Gargano.
  • In a second "A Very Gargano Christmas" vignette, Indi Hartwell got to open her gift. It was a PS5 box--but without the PS5, as Gargano said that was for him, he just gave her the box. He then gives her the family nickname, and christens her "Indi Wrestling" as Candice LeRae exclaims how much they love supporting "Indi Wrestling." I see what they did there.
  • A video package showcased the brutality when Finn Bálor had his jaw broken in a match against Kyle O'Reilly--and both men fight for the belt again at NXT: New Year's Evil live on the USA Network!
  • Toni Storm cut an interview, threatening Io Shirai. Later, Shirai came out to the ring and called out Toni Storm. Storm never came out--but a returning Mercedes Martinez attacked the women's champ, destroying her before going to break.
  • Damian Priest cut a promo on Karrion Kross, promising to get revenge for Kross attacking him from behind.
  • Leon Ruff talked William Regal into giving him a rematch for the North American Championship against Johnny Gargano next week.
  • Officially announced matches: Gargano vs Ruff for the North American Championship next week; in two weeks at New Year's Evil, Tommaso Ciampa will take on Timothy Thatcher in a "Fight Pit" match, and Finn Bálor will defend his NXT title against Kyle O'Reilly. We've also learned that Raquel Gonzalez will take on Rhea Ripley in a Last Woman Standing match.
