WWE NXT Set To Go Head-To-Head Against AEW's All Out, Former ECW Event To Return, NXT Tapings Details

All Elite Wrestling is set to hold their 2022 All Out Event on Sunday, September 4 from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, which is just outside of Chicago and according to a report from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE NXT's next Premium Live Event is set to also take place on September 4 on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network everywhere else. There's no word yet on the title of the event or the event's start time, but the event has been confirmed to take place on September 4 by the WWE's internal messaging and the event will most likely be airing in primetime against AEW All Out and will be coming to us from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

WWE NXT's next television special is set to take place on Tuesday, August 16th and will be called NXT Heatwave. Heatwave is a name ECW used for their past PPV Events and this will be WWE NXT's first-ever Heatwave Event. As of this writing, no matches have been announced for WWE NXT's Heatwave special. It was also revealed that the September 20 and September 27 episodes of WWE NXT 2.0 will not air live as the promotion will be taping those episodes on Wednesday, September 14. These episodes of WWE NXT 2.0 were originally set to be taped on Wednesday, September 7, but they were pushed back to September 14.
