Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to my NXT UK Recap! This episode will feature a colossal collision between “Bomber” Dave Mastiff, and his opponent, Rampage Brown. There will also be a championship clash between Jinny, and the NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray. The commentators are Nigel McGuinness and Andy Shepherd. Now that we know what will be going down, let’s get ready to rumble!
The show starts off with replays of the Jinny vs Piper Niven showdown from weeks ago, and the hyping of tonight’s championship battle is beginning early. The video package recaps the feud between Jinny and Kay Lee Ray, before the usual opening video rolls. Andy welcomes us to the B.T. Sports studios, as Rampage Brown makes his way into the ring.
Rampage Brown vs Dave Mastiff
The two big men start off the match with a tie up, and neither man gains the advantage. They tie it up again, as both men struggle to gain the early advantage. Both men run the ropes, and crash into each other, then tie up once again. They start banging shoulders like rams, then start throwing forearms, before Brown takes Mastiff down to the mat. Mastiff works his way back up, and hits a big drop kick. Mastiff starts to go to work on Brown in the corner, but Brown fights his way out. Brown hits a big shoulder block from the second rope, and starts to work over Mastiff with stiff kicks. Brown attempts a cover, and Mastiff kicks out. Brown applies a headlock, and a few forearms to the back of Mastiff, until Mastiff turns the tables. Mastiff sits down on Brown, and begins to control the match from there. Mastiff hits another big splash on Brown, then scoops him up with a pump handle suplex. Brown tries to fire up, and catches Mastiff with a big boot, before a cover attempt. Brown hits a clothesline, but Mastiff is unaffected, so he hits a German release suplex. Brown goes into the corner, and Mastiff goes on the chase. Brown takes Mastiff out at the knees, allowing separation. Brown follows up with the Doctor Bomb on Mastiff, and finishes him off for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Rampage Brown
After the match, A-Kid reflects on his match with WALTER from last week. A-Kid came up short of a victory, but certainly left a good impression on everyone. A-Kid says “next time will be different”, and the show heads for a commercial break.
Back from the break, the show goes backstage. Amir Jordan is told by his partner Kenny Williams that he will be facing Tyson T-Bone tonight. The show moves back into the ringside area, where Jack Starz is making his way into the ring.
Jack Starz vs Ilja Dragunov
The bell rings, and both men tie up. They go into the ropes, and the ref starts the count. They come back to the middle of the ring, and exchange submission attempts. Starz goes to work on the arm of Ilja, but he works his way back to his feet, and gets floored by a Starz drop kick. Ilja makes it back to his feet, and takes down Starz with a hip toss. Starz hits a hip toss of his own, and a headlock for good measure. Ilja reverses the hold, and takes down Starz, but Starz rolls through for a cover attempt. Ilja recovers quickly, and slams Starz, before applying a head lock. Ilja maintains the hold, until both guys run the ropes. Starz makes a leaping crossbody attempt, but is caught, and slammed into the mat. Ilja tries to take advantage, but Starz gets back up again. Starz hits a clothesline, and a pin attempt. Back to their feet, Starz hits a few big European uppercuts on Ilja, and this fires Dragunov up. Ilja gets more aggressive, and drops Starz with a nasty German suplex. Dragunov hits another one, before dumping Starz into the mat with a big slam. Dragunov follows up the two brutal suplexes with a few knees, and the torpedo Moscow, before throwing a few elbows into the jaw of Starz. The referee calls a stop to the match, allowing Ilja to pick up the victory. After the match, Dragunov shows remorse for the brutal elbows, as Andy hypes the main event. Nigel talks about Ben Carter, and he will be in action next week.
Winner: Ilja Dragunov
Once the segment ends, Sam Gradwell is shown talking backstage. He talks up Ben Carter, and then tears him down, before issuing a challenge to Carter. The show then heads to another break.
When the break is finished, Tyson T-Bone makes his way into the B.T. Sports studios.
Tyson T-Bone vs Amir Jordan
Jordan quickly locks on a headlock to start the match, and T-Bone fights out. Jordan locks it in again, but Tyson causes separation, and runs the ropes. Tyson hits a big power move on Jordan, and goes to work on the back of Amir. Tyson lands clubbing blows to the back of Jordan, and a few stiff left hands. Tyson then throws Jordan into the ropes, and hits a forearm to the lower back. T-Bone makes an attempt at a cover, and Jordan kicks out. Jordan fires up briefly, but gets dumped into the mat again by T-Bone. Jordan then gets nearly decapitated by a slingshot maneuver from Tyson into the ropes, and T-Bone applies another headlock variation. Jordan causes some separation, and tries to chop down T-Bone at the knees, to no avail. Jordan tries to throw a few fists, but the strength of T-Bone takes over again. T-Bone covers Jordan, but he rolls through, and reverses the pin attempt for the 1-2-3! What a surprise victory for Jordan!
Winner: Amir Jordan
After the match, Williams and Jordan celebrate, and Kay Lee Ray is shown walking backstage. Also backstage, Xia Brookside has a few words to say. She talks about her feud with Nina Samuels, and wonders why Nina keeps bothering her. Xia says Samuels will find out “what Brooksides are capable of” in due time. The show then heads for another ad break.
The show returns from the ad break, and a video package hyping the NXT UK Tag Team division is aired. There will be four teams competing for the chance to face NXT UK Tag Team Champions Gallus, and that will be amazing! There is also breaking news, as Eddie Dennis is banned from joining The Hunt at ringside, for the fatal 4 way elimination tag team match. Once the video package ends, the tale of the tape for the NXT UK Women’s Championship main event is displayed. Jinny makes her way to the ring, accompanied by Joseph Connors, and she’s followed by Kay Lee Ray.

Kay Lee Ray(C) vs Jinny
After the championship match style introductions, the bell rings, and they tie up immediately. Jinny goes for the hair of KLR, and they go into the corner. The referee makes them let go of each other, and Ray takes Jinny to the mat with a working hold. They exchange a few smacks, and Jinny locks on a hold. Ray fights to her feet, and they go into the corner. Ray starts to gain the advantage, and hits a drop kick, before making a cover attempt. Ray maintains the advantage, and tries another cover. Ray goes to the top rope, and misses an attempt, before being catapulted into the corner by Jinny. They go to the outside of the ring, and Jinny goes on the attack. Jinny narrowly avoids getting counted out, and continues to work over Ray on the outside. Ray gets separation briefly, but Jinny rams her face into the apron. Jinny makes an attempt at a pin in the ring, and they go into the corner. Jinny then tosses Ray hard into the turnbuckle, and applies a cover. Ray kicks out, but quickly finds herself in a submission hold, after a brief exchange. Ray fights to get to the ropes, and finally makes it. Jinny picks up the pace, and makes it rain fists, before making a cover attempt. Jinny keeps the pressure on with a submission hold, keeping the champion grounded. Jinny hits a forearm, and tries a rip cord knee, but it’s reversed. Both exchange big kicks, and they take each other out, before simultaneously falling to the mat. Jinny and Ray are each down, and the referee starts to count to 10. They make it back to their feet, and exchange forearms, until Ray connects with a kick. Ray hits a DDT, and attempts a pin, but Jinny kicks out. Ray locks in a nasty submission hold on Jinny, who actually manages to momentarily pin Ray. Jinny hits a big knee to the face, followed by a clothesline, before gaining a near fall. Jinny hits forearms to the back and neck of Ray, and Ray fights up. Connors then makes a distraction, and Jinny capitalizes by driving Ray face first into the mat. A desperate Joseph Connors tries to hold Rays feet down, but the referee catches him. Ray gets to her feet, and hits Connors, while Jinny grabs the belt. Jinny tries to hit Ray with the title, while the referee deals with Connors, but Ray ducks the attempt, and hits a Gory Bomb on Jinny for the 1-2-3.

Andy and Nigel talk about the continuation of Kay Lee Rays dominant reign as Champion, as the show fades to black. Now it’s time to hand out a few awards!
