WWE recently announced that on Tuesday, February 15 their NXT 2.0 brand will be having a special show called NXT Vengeance Day and the show will feature the finals of the 2022 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
The first-ever NXT Vengeance Day special took place as an NXT TakeOver Event on Sunday, February 14th from the Capitol Wrestling Center at WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The event saw Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez win the finals of the inaugural Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, former NXT Tag Team Champions MSK (Wes Lee and Nash Carter) win the finals of the 2021 Dusty Classic, Johnny Gargano retain the NXT North American Title over Kushida, Io Shirai retain the NXT Women’s Title over Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez in a Triple Threat Match and RAW Superstar Finn Balor retain the NXT Title over Pete Dunne.
