WWE NXT's Inaugural Spring Breakin’ Special Episode Set For May 3, Two Huge Title Matches Announced

During last night's episode of WWE NXT 2.0, it was announced that in two weeks time on Tuesday, May 3 WWE NXT 2.0's next special episode known as Spring Breakin’ will be taking place live from inside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and this will be the promotion's inaugural Spring Breakin' Event. Two huge titles matches have been announced so far for WWE NXT 2.0's inaugural Spring Breakin' Event.

It was first announced that WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker will be defending his championship against Joe Gacy in the main event. Their feud began when Joe Gacy and Harland abducted WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker's father WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner a number of weeks ago. Gacy ended up letting Steiner go, but he kept Steiner's Hall of Fame ring and taunted Breakker with it last week, putting it into a bonfire and burning his own finger. Last night’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0 then saw their feud continue, with Gacy taunting Breakker ,while Breakker hunted him at the WWE Performance Center.

The final moments of last night's episode of WWE NXT 2.0 saw Bron Breakker confront Joe Gacy while he stood alone on the balcony above the fans at the WWE Performance Center. Gacy then returned Steiner’s ring and Breakker would accept his challenge for a shot at the WWE NXT Title. Gacy then told Breakker he only had one thing left to do and that is to take a leap of faith. The WWE NXT Champion would then be pushed off the balcony by Gacy and Breakker would land on his back down below. A number of mystery men cloaked in robes then covered Bron Breakker and it looked like they were about to carry him. Last night's NXT 2.0 would then go off the air with Gacy looking down from the balcony with a smile on his face.

WWE NXT 2.0's Spring Breakin’ Event will also see Cameron Grimes put his WWE NXT North American Title on the line in a Triple Threat Match against Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes. Cameron Grimes won the WWE NXT North American Title at NXT Stand & Deliver last April 2nd in a Fatal 5-Way Ladder Match, when he defeated Solo Sikoa, Grayson Waller, Santos Escobar and former champion Carmelo Hayes.
