WWE Postpones Royal Rumble 2021 Announcement; Earnings Call Scheduled Today

-- The WrestleVotes Twitter account noted that initially WWE had planned to announce the date and venue of next year's Royal Rumble in early August, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that details about the event are in a constant state of change, the company has decided to put this announcement on hold.

-- WWE is scheduled to report their quarter two earnings later today, which will be the first call where the true numbers factoring in the pandemic will be revealed. The company has not been able to run live events in front of an audience for months but have also undertaken a host of cost cutting measures while still having the stability of their lucrative TV deals with FOX and USA.
