WWE President Nick Khan appeared at the IMG x RedBird Summit this week and according to SportBusiness, has confirmed that the company will be bringing a premium live event to Europe in 2026.
While not getting too specific, Khan confirmed that the event would take place "early next year" and will take place in Italy. No other details, including which PLE it would be, were shared, however, WWE has already locked in some of their bigger events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam), nothing has been announced for some of the smaller events.
WWE has toured Italy in the past, and as recently as this year when Bologna was a stop on the "Road to WrestleMania", as well as holding both Raw and Smackdown there several years ago. However, the country has ever hosted a PPV or PLE so this would be a first.
