In August of last year, WWE hired Nick Khan, who worked as the Co-Head of Television at CAA (Creative Artists Agency), and was given the role of president of the company. Nick Khan recently spoke with BT Sports' Ariel Helwani on a few topics, which was his first time doing an interview outside of the WWE since signing with the company.
According to a recent report, on the same day Nick Khan was given his job in WWE, he was warned about what could potentially happen with AEW being a competition to the WWE. It was also said on the report that someone in the WWE warned Khan about how everyone would tell him AEW wasn't competition and that if the WWE didn’t make changes, then AEW would end up as real competition to them. Khan was also told that the AEW competition stuff is not true and that AEW competing with the WWE is impossible.
