-- Last night's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw reportedly underwent several changes according to multiple sources with previously matched announced matches scrapped for various reasons. PWinsider.com reports that the source of the changes was Vince McMahon was "extremely unhappy" with the original plans and "ripped up the script" several times including the original script and the subsequent re-write. McMahon then reportedly began "requesting new ideas" but was rejecting everything and even just two hours before airtime, there was no direction or plan for Raw. One person backstage described it as the "loudest and angriest" McMahon has ever been and it turned out to be one of the longest days for the creative team as a result.
-- Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio also noted that the show underwent "a million changes" with matches being canceled because the direction of storylines changed. For example, WWE is moving forward with Randy Orton with Bobby Lashley in a program, which ended up causing the planned Lashley/Sheamus match to be scrapped. The originally scheduled match between Drew McIntyre and Damien Priest was made into a triple threat as a result which included Sheamus. Finally, Miz vs. John Morrison didn't happen for reasons not known as Miz was reportedly not even backstage at the show according to pwinsider.com.
