An injury on last night's WWE Raw led to a premature match finish.
In a "Last Time Is Now" tournament match, Penta suffered a shoulder injury while wrestling Solo Sikoa. The spot happened after Penta hit a Hurricanrana off the barricade causing him to land extremely hard on his shoulder. The match ended up being stopped as medical personnel attended to Penta while cameras focus on Sikoa in the ring. The show then went to a commercial break and when things resumed, the match was ended and Sikoa was given the win.
According to f4wonline.com's Bryan Alvarez, the match was originally scheduled to go 12 minutes but was cut short due to the unexpected injury. He also noted that Penta wanted to "pop his shoulder back in and keep going" in order to continue the match but was overruled by WWE doctors.
