Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! After the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE taped another edition of Raw Talk, which can be seen on Peacock and the WWE Network. Check out the highlights from the show below.
Raw Talk
⁃ Raw Talk kicks off with footage from Raw, where a new era kicked off on Monday nights.
⁃ In the studio, Jackie Redmond and Matt Camp cover the Raw Talk Headlines, until Matt pitches the show over to the arena.
Queen Zelina
Coming off of the heels of yet another victory over Doudrop, Queen Zelina joins Kevin Patrick backstage. Kevin begins by asking Zelina how it feels to wear the crown, and the Queen explains “I feel amazing, I wake up and realize I’m the Queen. No one else can say that.” Kevin follows up by asking Vega about the reaction she’s received from her colleagues, and Zelina asks “who wouldn’t envy me? They already have built in ugly faces, so there’s no difference.” Kevin throws Raw Talk back over to Matt and Jackie, who sends the show to an ad break.
⁃ Matt shares a few thoughts on the new #1 Contender to the WWE Championship, and it’s time for another break.
**Commercial Break**
⁃ On the other side of the break, more highlights from Raw are aired.
⁃ Matt and Jackie cover the showdown between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair, until Matt sends Raw Talk back to Sarah in the arena.
Damian Priest
The reigning United States Champion is backstage in Houston, and he’s with Sarah Schreiber. Sarah begins by asking Damian about his apparent change of attitude, and Priest explains “I don’t think it’s a secret, I want my name to stand the test of time, and you have to evolve.” Sarah also asks Damian for his opinion of some of the new faces on Monday Night Raw, and she wonders which new Raw talent Priest would like to face someday. Damian tells viewers “we have a good list of people who came over. But I would like to face the Rated-R Superstar!” Sarah quickly throws the show over to Matt in the studio, who looks ahead to the last guest of the day.
⁃ Jackie and Matt share more thoughts on Monday’s Raw, until Raw Talk is sent to a final break.
**Commercial Break**
⁃ The host’s share their thoughts on Bearcat Lee, until the final guest is ready in the arena.
Big E
After finding out about his future bout with Seth Rollins, the WWE Champion joins KP in Houston. Kevin fires away with questions, and asks the Champion if he felt any disrespect from Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, or Kevin Owens. Big E explains “no, that’s what I signed up for. That’s what I want, I take pride in people wanting what I have. I want the very best, and that’s what I asked for.” Kevin has a follow up question, and he wonders if E may have had a favorite going into the match. Big E says “I just wanted to see the best versus the best, so hats off to Seth. Seth is a future first ballot hall of Famer, and he’s gonna bring it. Once I beat Seth, I’ll be a better version of myself.” The final interview comes to a close, and Kevin sends Raw Talk back to the WWE Global Headquarters for a few final thoughts from the host’s.
⁃ Matt and Jackie put a bow on all of the action from Monday Night Raw, and Raw Talk fades to black.
