Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! After the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw came to an end, WWE taped another episode of Raw Talk, which you can watch now on the WWE Network. Raw Talk is hosted by Kevin Patrick, and his co-host, Xavier Woods. The guests on the show will be Riddle, Bobby Lashley, and Sonya Deville. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk!
Kevin kicks off the show by welcoming everyone to the ThunderDome, and R-Truth is back! Kevin asks Truth to explain where he’s been, and he says “I went to the wrong stadium for Wrestlemania. Do you know how many Raw Talks I missed? With all these people giving me wrong information? But I still got my baby(the 24/7 Championship)”. Truth eventually reveals that “Tropicana” was on his Wrestlemania itinerary, and Kevin moves on in confusion. Kevin and Truth announce that Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, and Bobby Lashley will battle for the WWE Championship at ‘Wrestlemania Backlash’, and bring on the first guest, Riddle.
The “Original Gro” joins the host’s, and he says “I couldn’t be any better bro”. Riddle tells Truth he also went to Tropicana, and “someone is against me and Truth”. Riddle talks about wanting to team with Truth, before discussing “R-K-Bro”. Riddle explains that he beat Orton last week, and believes that after Orton “sat on it for a week”, Randy wanted the team to happen. Riddle jokes about Randy, saying “he just knows how to warm a guys heart. I think this is the beginning of a nice friendship”. Truth gets excited, and tells Riddle “I’m rooting for y’all dawg”, before Kevin chimes back in to talk about the match from last nights Raw. Riddle says “we went in as a team, and Randy never gave up on me. He was always reaching for the tag”. Kevin wonders if Riddle and Orton will have coffee together soon, and Riddle explains “Randy said we have to take it day by day. We have to let it marinate”. Riddle begins to short circuit from silliness, until Kevin wraps the segment up. Truth and Riddle chant “R-K-Bro”, until the show heads to an ad break
On the other side of the break, Sonya Deville joins the show. Sonya explains “I call everything straight down the center. I’m trying to do my job the best I can, and I feel like Adam made a rushed decision with Charlotte.” Deville continues, and says “I don’t have to answer to Adam Pearce just like he doesn’t have to answer to me.” Kevin wonders if anything happened between her and Adam to cause a falling out, and Deville tells him “I just went with my gut. She made an error and apologized, so we went on with our business.” Kevin wants to know why the referee had to apologize, and Sonya explains “look we’re all good, let’s just move on”. Kevin mentions that Sonya made Mandy Rose face “The Queen”, and Sonya explains “I have a way of bringing the best out of Mandy. Perception is reality.” Sonya goes on to say that she “doesn’t want to go back to last year”, and Kevin thanks her for stopping by the show.
When Raw Talk returns from the break, “The Almighty WWE Champion” sits down with the hosts. Kevin begins the interview by asking about Braun Strowman being added to the WWE Championship match. Bobby tells him “it’s so disrespectful... I don’t even want to talk into my mic about it.” Truth joins the conversation, and begins to talk, but MVP cuts him off. MVP explains that Lashley has already beaten Braun and Drew on separate occasions, and he believes “there’s some nefarious plan going on... I don’t know who is making these decisions. How do you make these decisions without consulting Bobby Lashley.” Bobby throws his two cents in, and says “I can beat both of them at the same time, and we’re gonna have fun doing it.” MVP adds to that, and explains “you never hear people discuss Bobby’s fight IQ.” P explains the fight IQ Lashley has, and Bobby tells the host’s “Drew has no focus.” Truth tells Bobby “my attention span ain’t no good either dawg”, and MVP runs down McIntyre more. Bobby tells the hosts “if one of them beats me, I get them one-on-one in the next match, but I’m going to beat both.” Kevin closes the interview by asking MVP to define the “Almighty Era”, and P simply says “black excellence”.
That’s all for this weeks Raw Talk Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day everyone!
