WWE Raw Talk Recap: (5/24/21)

Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! After the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw came to an end, WWE taped another episode of Raw Talk, which you can watch now on the WWE Network. Raw Talk is hosted by Kevin Patrick, and his co-host, R-Truth. The guests on the show will be Charlotte Flair, Ricochet, Riddle. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk!

Raw Talk

Kevin kicks off the show by reminding everyone that Hell In A Cell is four weeks away, and he tells Truth “I sent you flowers or tons of emails, I’m still so sorry about what happened with Tozawa.” Truth responds, and he says “the 24/7 Championship is my baby... you just had a baby! What if someone took it?” Kevin tells Truth he wouldn’t like it if someone took his actual baby, and the former 24/7 Champion makes him to move on. Kevin and Truth take a look at a few of the highlights from Raw, until Kevin announces the guests on the show, and sends the viewers to an ad break.

Charlotte Flair

Back from the break, the 13-time Women’s Champion joins the show, and she sings a classic Petey Pablo tune. Kevin kicks things off by asking Charlotte about Rhea Ripley, and Flair tells the hosts “she doesn’t respect me, but she will, when I make her bow down at Hell In A Cell.” Truth isn’t sure Ripley will “bow”, and Charlotte reminds him that she beat Rhea at last year’s Wrestlemania, for whatever that’s worth. Kevin adds that Rhea “took her eye off the ball during Raw”, and Charlotte agrees. Flair messes around about becoming 24/7 Champion, and claims she will get her 14th Championship win at Hell In A Cell, before making exit. Kevin follows up by telling viewers who will be on the show next, and we’re off to another break.

Ricochet

Kevin begins by asking Ricochet to “fill us in”, about what happened with Sheamus, and Ricochet tells him “I can’t just let him punk out my boy like that.” Ricochet adds “I’m trying to stay in the back of his mind. I want to live in his mind rent free so to speak.” Kevin wonders what else Ricochet could possibly do get in the mind of Sheamus, and a series of bad Irish impressions breaks out. Ricochet gets back on track, and says “anything I can do to stay back there in his head, that’s what I want to do.” Truth begins talking about “shrimp on the barbie”, and that’s a totally different reference to a totally different country... Kevin, the actual Irishman, tells Ricochet and Truth “we will work on it”, and asks if Ricochet thinks he’s in line for a US title opportunity. Ricochet tells viewers “I know I deserve a title opportunity. Anything I can do to stay in that man’s mind, that’s what I’m gonna do!” Ricochet exits stage left, and it’s time for a Peacock plug.

Riddle

“The Original Bro” joins the hosts, and he shows off his new merch, because who doesn’t need a nice pair of flip flops. Truth says the flip flops are “drippin”, and Riddle explains how everyone can get a pair. Kevin asks Riddle about using the RKO, and Riddle tells the hosts “dude, Xavier Woods is so good. He hit me with a missle dropkick. It hurt, but it hurt so good.” Riddle says he talked to Orton about the RKO, and Orton said “I seen you use it, bro,” allegedly. Riddle adds “I’ll be honest, that was the first time I ever used that move. It was exhilarating.” Kevin switches gears, and asks what’s next for RKO-BRO. Riddle responds, and explains “honestly bro, the future between me and Randy... we’re going up, up, up baby! We’re going to the moon! We’re going past the moon to like, Jupiter!” Riddle closes by saying “I think I know Randy pretty well, and we connect on a different level.” Kevin asks Riddle for a few final words, and Riddle says “AJ and Omos watch out,” as the show fades to black.

That’s all for this weeks Raw Talk Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day everyone!
