Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! After the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw came to an end, WWE taped another episode of Raw Talk, which you can watch now on the WWE Network. Raw Talk is hosted by Kevin Patrick, and his co-host, R-Truth. The guests on the show will be Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk!
Kayla kicks off the show, and she’s filling in for Kevin Patrick. Kayla introduces R-Truth, and he brags about still having “my baby(24/7 Championship)” with him. Kayla begins to cover a few of the highlights from Monday Night Raw, until she brings on the first guest of the night, Rhea Ripley.
The reigning Raw Women’s Champion joins the show, and she seems unsure of how microphones work. After Rhea figures it out, Kayla asks about her title defense being changed to a triple threat match, and asks how Ripley feels. Rhea tells her “I’m really mad about it. Charlotte is mad because she didn’t get to be on Wrestlemania. It’s time for her to move over.” Kayla wants to know how Rhea feels about Sonya Deville, and Ripley explains “Sonya isn’t thinking, she is just acting. She’s handing Charlotte everything that she wants.” Truth joins in, and says “we all make mistakes right”? Ripely responds, and asks “would you just let a burglar in to rob your house”? Truth replies with a big “hell nah”, before Kayla wonders if Rhea is worried about Asuka, and mentions that she hasn’t beaten Charlotte yet. Rhea looks upset about the comments, but adds that she hasn’t defeated Charlotte “yet”. Rhea shares a quick thought on each competitor, before saying “I’ve grown alot in the last year. If Charlotte tries to come for me, I’m going to give it right back to her.” The hosts thank Rhea for joining the show, and Raw Talk heads to an ad break.
On the other side of the break, “The Archer of Infamy” joins the show. After Priest and Truth exchange a secret handshake, Damian explains “I’m feeling good. The Miz has been a thorn since I joined Raw, but he’s trying the wrong person.” Truth tells Damian “keep doing what you’re doing. Do it to it dawg.” Priest lists off the accomplishments Miz & Morrison have racked up, and Kayla asks if “enough is enough yet”, when it comes to their tactics as of late. Priest tells her “he’s been disrespecting my friends, and I don’t like it.” Kayla follows up by asking what’s next for Priest, and explains “the goals are always moments. I can’t wait to move on from Miz and Morrison. I want my name to stand the test of time, so at some moment I’ll have to win championships here.” Kayla wishes Damian “good luck from week to week”, and sends the show to a Peacock plug.
Kayla begins the conversation by asking Drew about “coming back for the title.” McIntyre says “I allowed myself to be distracted at WrestleMania, and I’ll never be distracted again.” Kayla follows up by asking about next weeks clash between McIntyre and Lashley, and Drew says “Lashley is a fighter. MVP talks to much. So how could I be annoyed at Lashley? My focus is MVP.” Kayla asks about her question, and she wonders what Drew’s assessment of Lashley as Champion is. McIntyre says “realistically, he’s gone in there and done what he’s had to do.” Kayla goes on to ask which of his future opponents is a bigger threat, and he tells her “whoever can take the most punishment will be the last man standing, and leave with the WWE Championship.”
That’s all for this weeks Raw Talk Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day everyone!
