Hey there every one, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! The most recent episode of Raw Talk went down on the WWE Network last night, and included three guests. Hosts Charly Caruso and R-Truth were joined by Bianca Belair, Damian Priest, and Mustafa Ali. Now that we’re all caught up, let’s take a look at what went down:
Charly tells the viewers “you know what it is”, and welcomes everyone back to the ThunderDome. Truth opens up the show by speaking about his time at the beach this past weekend, and how Doug Flutie gave him “the oki doke”. Charly and Truth talk briefly about the Super Bowl, and transition into talking about the main event of Monday Night Raw. Charly and Truth discuss the brewing rivalry between Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, and a graphic for the up coming WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match is shown. Charly tries to figure out how many people are actually in that match, and says she thinks Drew McIntyre will win. Truth adds to Charly’s comments, and says he believes people “will get hurt”. Charly then brings on the first guest of the night, “The EST of WWE” Bianca Belair.
Bianca Belair
Bianca makes her way to the desk, and Charly compliments her on her outfit. Charly asks Bianca how she’s been feeling, and Belair tells her she “is a grown women, but she’s felt like a kid ever since winning the Royal Rumble”. Charly questions Bianca on who she will choose to face at Wrestlemania, and Bianca tells her “it’s complicated”. Belair calls it “a huge decision”, and says that she has enough time to make her choice. Bianca finally states that “it doesn’t really matter” who she faces, and she’s “going to Wrestlemania, gonna face them, and gonna win”. After Charly, Truth, and Bianca decide on how Belair should go about choosing her opponent, Charly welcomes on the next guest, Damian Priest.
Damian Priest
Priest is making his first appearance on the show, and Damian tells us it has been “amazing being in the ring with Kane and Edge”, and competing on Raw. Charly wonders what Damian thinks so far, and he talks about teaming with Bad Bunny. Truth can’t tell the difference between Bad Bunny and Bugs Bunny, and Priest helps him out, before saying he has “zero complaints” about the way things have gone. Damian continues to talk about Bad Bunny, and tells us that if he wanted to make it in WWE “he could do it”. Truth calls Priest “DP”, and Charly says she likes that, which causes Truth and Priest to smirk. Priest continues, and Charly tells him to “let the chips fall as they may”. Truth tells Damian not to let Miz and Morrison mess with him, and Priest says he definitely will not. Charly mentions to Priest that “you never know what’s gonna happen” in the WWE world, and Priest responds, saying that “you don’t know, but when you win it’s amazing”. The hosts thank “DP” for joining, and the next guest makes his way onto the show.
Mustafa Ali
Ali is joined at the desk by his RETRIBUTION stable mates T-Bar and Mace. Mustafa opens up by talking about when he found out he would be on the show. Ali continues, telling us “I found out from a fan on Twitter”. Ali takes a look around the set, and mentions to the hosts that people “panic when I come out here”, and he wants to talk about why he hasn’t won a WWE Championship yet. Ali goes on, and talks about the opportunities he and his team have never been offered, telling the viewers his teams “passion has been drowned”. Ali runs down the roster for becoming corporate shills, and says he “doesn’t fit in to the key demographic”. Mustafa tells us he and his team are “warriors”, and makes fun of The New Day clapping and twerking. Ali finishes ranting by making fun of R-Truth. Charly wonders if the focus for RETRIBUTION should be somewhere else other than on the New Day, and Ali rants about “Booty O’s”. Ali tells us “it’s time to speak some truth”, and sends a message to the New Day, saying “we will build our own home, because we know how it feels to be left out in the cold”. Truth tells Ali if he came to his house he “would leave him outside too”. Ali closes by telling the New Day “congratulations on the victory today”, and makes fun of Kofi Kingston for not “having a chest”. Ali signs off for everyone, and tells us all to be “happy”, before mocking New Day one last time. Charly thanks everyone for joining, as the show fades to black.
