Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! Tonight’s show is hosted by Charly Caruso, and her co-host, the reigning 24/7 Champion, R-Truth. Tonight’s guest on the show are Mr. Money In The Bank The Miz, John Morrison, Shayna Baszler, AJ Styles, and Omos. Now that we’re all caught up on who we will be hearing from tonight, it is time to talk!
Charly and Truth welcome the viewers back to the ThunderDome, and Charly says she missed last week because of Thanksgiving dinner with her mom.... A little late for that, but to each their own. Charly talks about the ending of Monday Night Raw, and wonders what’s going on with Alexa Bliss. Truth says Alexa “has no soul”, and Charly tries to figure out how Alexa said “let me in” in The Fiends voice. Charly speculates that their must be a soul inside of Alexa, and Truth tells her there is no way. Charly moves on, and introduces the nights first guests, Mr. Money In The Bank The Miz, and John Morrison.
The Miz and John Morrison
Miz and Morrison tell the hosts it feels “awkward” to be there, and Charly asks about the “train wreck” from earlier. Morrison tells her it wasn’t a “train wreck”, and Miz tells her he wants McIntyre and Goldberg to know that he “can cash it any time”. Miz tells us Gillberg appearing tonight was “Morrison’s idea”, and John denies that. Miz calls tonight’s Dirt Sheet the “best segment ever”, and talks about the wig falling off of Morrison’s “actor friend”. The Miz finishes the subject by saying “The Dirt Sheet just keeps getting bigger”. After realizing they’ve both been in a tag team with Truth, Miz wonders who Truth would choose as a tag team partner between he and Morrison. Truth answers the question, and jokingly wonders if Gillberg is available. Charly moves the interview along, and asks Miz if we might see a new WWE Champion soon. Miz talks about how he almost lost the briefcase because of Morrison, and says the contract inside may give him one of his last opportunities at the WWE Championship. Miz says once McIntyre and Goldberg beat each other up, he “will be there”. The two of them leave, and Charly introduces the viewers to the next guest, Shayna Baszler.
Shayna Baszler
The Queen of Spades makes her way to the desk, and Truth asks her if she’s better at Uno or Goldfish. Shayna gets mad, and wonders who is “making me do this”. Truth wonders if Shayna tried the salmon today, to no response. Shayna tells the hosts that she has shown things between her and Nia “do not matter”. Shayna says the two of them “never got along, but we get along enough in the ring”. Shayna continues, and mocks Charly for asking why her and Nia can’t seem to get along. Shayna tells her that they “were always focused”, and that’s all that matters. Charly questions Shayna about the challenge she laid down to Asuka and Charlotte, and Shayna says “when the prey is looking somewhere else, the predator can easily sneak up behind them”. Charly wants know how Shayna and Nia will get along during the Rumble, and if Shayna sees Nia as “a friend or a foe”. Shayna tells her “I know how the Rumble works”, and talks about her performance from last year. Shayna says the Rumble is a “side issue” next to the tag team titles. Charly thinks things could go many ways, and Shayna tells her “we’re gonna walk out as tag team champions, and I’m gonna win the Royal Rumble”. Shayna leaves, and AJ Styles makes his way to the desk, alongside Omos.
AJ Styles and Omos
Truth asks Omos how it’s been being Styles assistant, and Omos says “phenomenal”. AJ stops Truth, and tells him “I know what you’re trying to do”. Charly wonders what’s going on in AJ’s mind lately, and talks about his win against Ricochet tonight. Styles says he wants to win the Royal Rumble match, and plugs his documentary on the WWE Network. Truth asks another question about Omos, and Styles tells him to “stop messing with my guy”. AJ asks Omos if it upsets him when people get his name wrong, and Omos pronounces it properly for everyone, saying “OH-MAS”. Thank you for that... Charly moves things along, and asks about AJ’s expectations entering the Royal Rumble match this year. AJ tells her he hopes to enter the ring 30th, and Truth tells him he should enter first, “because you’re phenomenal dawg”. Charly wonders if Omos will be in the Rumble, and AJ tells her “we have a plan”. AJ wonders if Truth will be in the Rumble match, and says “hey is that a referee over there”, teasing the 24/7 Champion about taking his title, as the show fades to black.
