WWE has released several talents over the past week reportedly due to budget cuts. Some of the talent the promotion has let go include some of their seasoned employees such as Tom Phillips. PWInsider.com reports that another seasoned employee in Giancarlo Dittamo was recently released. Giancarlo, who was hired in November of 2018, was the person who directed a number of incredible documentaries including Liv Forever (Liv Morgan’s WWE Network doc), a WWE YouTube video of “Ringside” Charlie Adorno, and the upcoming Superfan: The Story of Vladimir (WWE’s first-ever official Superfan).
Just like Tom Phillips' WWE release, Dittamo's release was considered a shock as well. Before he made his way to the WWE, Dittamo worked for Game Changer Wrestling, Joey Janela’s Spring Break, as well as other digital media outside of the pro wrestling industry.
