-- WWE has let go more behind-the-scenes staff recently or perhaps only today, including long-time employee Tony Chimel, who has been with the company since 1991, originally as a ring announcer and more recently as part of the production and ring crew. Also let go was Derek Casselman, who was the Director of Venue Merchandise, Remote Operations according to pwinsider.com and he too was a long-time employee, having been with WWE since 1993. It is estimated that in all, WWE released anywhere between 10 and 15 individuals based in their Stamford, CT offices.
