-- Earlier this week, a report emerged from the WrestleVotes account that indicated that WWE amid major changes within the stable, WWE was looking to rebrand and rename the Judgment Day faction. The report added that the new name WWE was going to tag the group with was "Street Trash" which was an idea that came straight from Finn Balor. The idea was so far along that WWE had already visualized concepts for merchandise.
-- In an update, WrestleVotes is now reporting that after receiving negative online backlash towards "Street Trash", WWE has had a change of heart and will not be changing the stable's name and instead they will move forward by leaving them as Judgment Day.
A good follow up on this: looks like they heard the outcry! Source claims the name Judgment Day will remain, however the slogan “Street Trash” will be incorporated within the groups gimmick.
