-- Former WWE Women's champion Ronda Rousey's name has begun to be mentioned backstage in regards to potential return and fightfulselect.com reports that it's so prevalent that it's now considered a "poorly kept secret", even to the point that it's been mentioned to talent outside of the company. With the Royal Rumble only a week away and WrestleMania just around the corner, it's not unexpected that Rousey's name is being floated around as even a possible surprise entrant or be linked in some way to the women's Rumble match.
-- Rousey signed a multi-year WWE contract that ultimately expired in April of 2021 but she also had a baby before that time and hasn't made any appearances for the company in almost three years, wrestling for WWE for only a year. However, after giving birth in September 2021, Rousey has reportedly been hard at training and sources believe it is a matter of "if, not when" she returns to WWE and the company has been pushing for her to come back though nothing is confirmed at this point.
