After the latest edition of Smackdown, WWE taped a brand new episode of the Smackdown Lowdown.
The show featured Sheamus, as well as a visit from Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai. Check it out:
Smackdown Lowdown (8/20)
-Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp.
-The hosts highlight a few moments from the latest episode of Smackdown, and it’s time for the show’s first interview.
Sheamus
Coming off of the heels of a jam packed night of action on Smackdown, the next Intercontinental Championship challenger has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Megan recaps Sheamus’ performance in his fatal 5-way victory on Smackdown, and she wonders how Sheamus is feeling at the moment. The Celtic Warrior explains “that title is the one title that I haven’t won.” Sheamus goes on to say “I have done everything to put myself in that titles path, but every time, I’ve been passed by.” Sheamus closes by saying “when something is meant to happen, it’ll happen… and now we are weeks away from the moment becoming a reality. Gunther, you may think you hold all of the cards, but I’m telling you, fella, I’m going to defeat you for the Intercontinental Championship.” Sheamus moves on, and Megan sends the show back to the studio.

-Matt and Jackie highlight a few more matches from Friday night, until Megan chimes in with the next guest.
Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai
Moments after the main event of Smackdown On Fox, the newest trio in WWE has a few words for Megan Morant. Megan begins by recapping the trio’s night on Smackdown, and she wants to know what the ladies witnessed on Smackdown. Bayley explains “we all know that Smackdown is Bayley’s show, and I had to introduce my good friends to that annoying Michael Cole!” Dakota adds “we were scouting the competition, and I still feel good about everything. I think we have this one in the bag!” All three women move on, and Megan tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
Shayna Baszler
After an interaction with Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler is standing by with Megan Morant, and the final interview is underway! Megan asks Shayna about her issues with Liv, and Baszler says “I am sick of everyone accusing me of showing restraint. What I did tonight was strategic. I need Liv to be medically available in Cardiff.” Shayna reiterates her statement, telling viewers “that was strategy! I need Liv in Cardiff, and now, I made sure she’s gonna be there. Watch me!” Shayna exit’s stage left, and it’s time to put a bow on todays show.
