After the latest edition of Smackdown, WWE taped a brand new episode of the Smackdown Lowdown.
The show featured Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan, The Uso’s, and a visit from a Monday Night Raw Superstar. Check it out:
Smackdown Lowdown (7/9)
-Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp.
-The hosts highlight a few moments from the latest episode of Smackdown, and it’s time for the show’s first interview.
Liv Morgan
Coming off of the heels of a jam packed night of action on Smackdown, Liv Morgan has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Megan recaps the Smackdown clash between Ronda Rousey and Natalya, and she wonders how Liv plans to prepare for Rousey at SummerSlam. Morgan explains “as soon as Ronda is fully recovered, I’ll be ready and waiting for her. It’s going to be the fight of my life!” Liv goes on to say “For anyone that thinks they are willing to fight harder than I am for this title, I can’t wait to prove them wrong.” Liv moves on, and Megan sends the show back to the studio.

-Matt and Jackie highlight a few more matches from Friday night, until Megan chimes in with another guest.
The Uso’s
Moments after SmackdownOn Fox, The Uso’s have a message for the Street Profits. Kayla begins by asking who will serve as Special Guest Referee in the bout, and Jimmy says “honestly, you could give us a special guest anything, and it don’t even matter… 1, 2, and 3.” Kayla follows up by asking both men about their confidence level headed into the match, and Jey asks Kayla to “step off real quick.” Jey turns his attention to the camera, telling viewers “im gonna let the whole world know! Who had the match of the night at Money In The Bank? We didn’t have weapons, but y’all keep coming at The Uso’s wrong!” After listing off all of their career accolades, Jey closes by saying “Street Profits! You the two’s, and we the one’s!” Kayla thanks The Uso’s for stopping by, and the Smackdown Lowdown returns to the studio.
⁃Matt recaps a few other segments from Friday’s Smackdown, and throws the show over to the arena for the final time.
Theory
After setting up a future collision with Madcap Moss on next week’s Smackdown, Theory is backstage with Kayla Braxton, and the final interview is underway! Kayla asks Theory for his thoughts on the upcoming duel with Moss, and Mr. Money In The Bank says “Moss couldn’t climb the ladder, and grab the briefcase, so that he could prove that he can do this all day.” Theory continues “but you know who did? Theory! And what am I gonna do with this briefcase? Cash in on Roman Reigns? Brock Lesnar? Maybe I’ll save it for another time! Maybe SummerSlam is the perfect time.” Theory moves on, and Kayla tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
-The hosts share a few final thoughts on last night’s Smackdown, until the Smackdown Lowdown comes to a close.
