The reason for this is due to logistics involved with traveling to Saudi Arabia for next week's Night of Champions premium live event, making it difficult if not impossible for talent to work live on Friday and travel overseas for the the PLE.
-- Fightfulselect.com reports that The Grayson Waller Effect will have similar presentation on Smackdown that they had in NXT - complete with plants, monitors, desks, leather chairs, etc. Meanwhile, Pretty Deadly will be filming some chef-inspired vignettes that will air tonight.
-- The World Heavyweight championship, which is set to be crowned at Night of Champions, is going to once again be featured ringside for tonight's show and next week's show.
-- Also planned for tonight is an AJ Styles tarot card segment which will reveal that a match against Karrion Kross is on the horizon for his future.
-- The KO Show with Kevin Owens is tentatively scheduled for the second tapings of Smackdown tonight that will air next week.
