WWE has announced multiple updates for next week's episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
Former WWE Women's United States Champion Giulia confronted Tiffany Stratton backstage on Friday, wanting her rematch, however, Stratton will instead put her title on the line against Kiana James in her first defense.
In a six-woman tag team match, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley will join forces to battle the Fatal Influence trio of Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid and leader Jacy Jayne. In a sub-storyline, WWE continues to tease friction between Flair and Ripley.
After defeating Ricky Saints and attacking WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes last night, Gunther will be present live to address his actions and his likely upcoming feud with Rhodes.
Finally, WWE will be holding a funeral for the Gingerbread Man, who was said to have passed away after being "attacked" by Sami Zayn, who basically ripped apart the outfit.
