WWE SmackDown Viewership And Rating Report For Last Friday Night

WrestleNomics reports that the post-WWE SummerSlam episode of SmackDown, which aired last Friday on the USA Network, attracted an average of 1.557 million viewers and achieved a rating of 0.48 in the key 18-49 demographic.

This represents a 0.84% increase from the previous week's viewership of 1.544 million and a 4.35% rise from last week’s rating of 0.46 in the same demographic. The show’s rating in the key 18-49 demographic matched the figures from the Hulk Hogan tribute episode two weeks ago, although the audience size was down from that episode's 1.707 million viewers. SmackDown ranked #2 for the night in ratings across both cable and network TV, trailing only an NFL preseason game, which drew a 0.61 rating and 2.237 million viewers.

So far in 2025, SmackDown has an average rating of 0.435 in the key 18-49 demographic, with average viewership of 1.498 million. In comparison, during the same period in 2024 on FOX, the show had a rating of 0.65 and averaged 2.308 million viewers.

The episode was headlined by 17-time World Champion John Cena and Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes taking on “The Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre and “The Maverick” Logan Paul in a tag team match.
