WWE's SummerSlam 2019 takes place on August 11th at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON.
Kickoff Show:
- Jonathan Coachman welcomes us to the Kickoff Show, and he's joined by Charly Caruso, Beth Phoenix and David Otunga. They run down tonight's card, and then they throw it down to Sam Roberts and JBL at ringside. Sam and JBL introduce a video package looking at the build-up to Dolph Ziggler vs. Goldberg tonight.
- The Miz joins the Kickoff Show panel and talks about his part in the Ziggler/Goldberg setup. The Miz sticks around for a video package looking at the Kofi vs. Orton feud, and Miz picks Kofi to win tonight. They send us to JBL and Sam, and JBL says Kofi wasn't ready 10 years ago but he's ready now.
- We see a video package looking at the feud between Charlotte and Trish Stratus, and then we go backstage for an interview with Charlotte. Charlotte says Trish wants to re-write history, but the women's evolution is really because of legitimate athletes like Charlotte.
- It's time for Bray Wyatt's Firefly Fun House. This episode is mostly a compilation of old Firefly Fun House clips and his ambush attacks on RAW, and then Wyatt starts talking about his opponent tonight, Finn Balor.
