With WWE's next big event - Survivor Series - less than three weeks away, the women's and men's WarGames are well on their way to being set.
After help from Lash Legend and Nia Jax, the Kabuki Warriors defeated Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women's tag team titles and a post-match beatdown brought out both Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. At the end of the segment, Ripley yelled out "WarGames" which confirmed that the match will go down at Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego.
Meanwhile on the men's side, CM Punk came out to confront Logan Paul for his sucker punch from last week, but The Vision - Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker - also came out. This led to Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes to also emerge from the back, evening the odds. In a backstage segment, Punk said he was tired of playing games and called on William Regal to put forth the WarGames match, which Raw GM Adam Pearce then confirmed.
Traditionally, WWE has featured five competitors aside in their WarGames matches so if the same format stays for this year, one more wrestler on each team will still be announced for the women's match while two more each for the men's are still be determined. However, it's possible that the matches could end up being four-on-four.
