WWE Talking Smack Full Recap: Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, And Daniel Bryan Talk

Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Talking Smack Recap! This mornings show is hosted by the usual hosts, Kayla Braxton and Paul Heyman, who will be joined by three guests. The guests will be Seth Rollins, “The EST of WWE” Bianca Belair, and “The Leader of the YES! Movement” Daniel Bryan. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, let’s talk some smack!

Kayla starts off the show by welcoming the viewers back to the ThunderDome, and introduces her “fresh” co-host, Paul Heyman. Heyman tells her he’s “bad and boujee” and “not interested” in Kayla. Kayla begins to give a run down of everything that happened on the most recent episode of Smackdown, and asks Heyman about Reigns having another potential challenger. Heyman gets irked by the question, and tells Kayla “Roman Reigns is the end all be all in WWE” and he “fears no man”. Heyman tells Daniel Bryan he can “fantasize about the match(with Roman), but it ain’t gonna happen”. Kayla then welcomes on the first guest, Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins

Rollins looks a little sore after being swung by Cesaro, and he calls it “an unfortunate series of events”. Rollins tries to convince himself everything is ok, and adds that he “did not invite Cesaro out there”. Seth explains what has happened between he and Cesaro, saying he tries to offer Cesaro “guidance and help”. Kayla wonders if Seth spoke to soon about Cesaro, and he explains that Cesaro doesn’t have “killer instinct”. Heyman chimes in, and he thinks Kayla “is to critical”. Heyman continues, and talks about the “media” Rollins has done recently. Heyman wants Rollins to know that Roman likes what Seth has said, and he is paying attention. Heyman calls Seth “a visionary”, as well as “inspiring”. Heyman praises Rollins vision for Smackdown, and Rollins adds to it “saying sometimes things go easily, and other times people don’t understand”. Rollins tells the hosts “Cesaro will learn, and I didn’t want it to be this way”. Rollins assures everyone “it’s all gonna be ok, we’re gonna be just fine”, and leaves the desk.

Heyman begins to talk after that, telling us his back hurt earlier today, but when he hugged Rollins, he “felt better”. Kayla seems outraged by the comments, and says “oh c’mon”! She then brings on the next guest, Bianca Belair.

Bianca Belair

Bianca dances on the desk to start the interview, and that’s a first. Kayla asks what made Bianca “finally decided to pick an opponent”, and Belair says Banks is “the standard”. Bianca talks about her match being the first time two African American women will “headline a wrestlemania”, and calls that “historic”. Bianca continues, and tells the hosts “making the decision tonight made it feel so real for me”. She adds that “what the moment will represent, I am just so excited for it”. Kayla recaps how Bianca got to this point, and Belair talks about being “inspired by Sasha”. Bianca adds to that, saying “when the match starts she will be grateful, but I’m looking to be the new Smackdown Women’s Champion”. Kayla wishes Bianca luck, and sends her on her way.

After Bianca leaves, Heyman talks about thoughts and comments he’s shared with Belair in the past. Heyman mentions that’s the reason he “had nothing to say tonight”. Heyman finishes the thought by saying he “looks forward to speaking to her as the new champion in the first talking Smack after Wrestlemania”. Kayla then begins to bring on the next guest, and Heyman tries to wrap up the show. Kayla brings on the last guest anyways, and that is Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan

Bryan immediately begins talking about how Heyman had a “sweet mullet in the 80’s” and that Paul used to dance on tables like Bianca. Daniel tells Kayla about winning the Elimination Chamber match, and how it’s “the third time” he’s won it. Bryan continues, and talks about “taking a step back to push other talent forward”. Bryan mentions “how great the Smackdown Superstars are”, and talks about losing to Reigns “really quick”. Bryan starts to talk about the moments after the match when Edge and Reigns had an exchange, saying “that’s when I felt like an absolute failure”. Bryan says the reason for this is because Edge and Roman have fought “a combined three matches this year”. Bryan explains that he had “the deepest realization of all”, which is that he “failed himself”. Bryan goes on to say he “is more ambitious than he thought he was” and begins to rant about how many matches he has wrestled so far. Bryan begins to yell, and directs his comments at Heyman. Bryan finishes, and says “so if you’re asking me about winning the Elimination Chamber, it didn’t feel good”. Heyman starts to talk, and tells Bryan “I have the opportunity of a lifetime for you”. Heyman explains he’s been authorized by Reigns to offer a Universal Championship opportunity to Bryan, if he can beat Jey Uso at Smackdown next week. Heyman adds that if Bryan loses, he will “acknowledge Roman Reigns as your tribal chief”. Bryan gets a chance to respond, and says to Paul “I will take you up on that offer, but if I lose, I will shake Romans hand”, and call him “the best wrestler I’ve been in the ring with”. Bryan adds a “condition of his own”, and wants the match to be “a steel cage match”. Kayla thinks that sounds “awesome”, and she starts chanting “steel cage match” with Daniel. Heyman explains that he can’t accept the offer, and Bryan mocks Heyman, and says if Roman doesn’t answer “he is a coward”. Heyman then receives “a text from Roman Reigns”, who says the match is on. Bryan responds, and wants Heyman to send a message to Reigns, saying “I am going out to take what’s mine, and that’s the name I had before CM Punk, the best damn wrestler in the world”. Bryan walks away, and Kayla hypes the upcoming Fastlane event, as the show fades to black.
