After last night’s edition of Smackdown, WWE taped their latest episode of Talking Smack.
The show featured Drew McIntyre, an appearance from Ridge Holland, as well as a visit from Toni Storm. Check it out:
Talking Smack (12/18)
Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp. Jackie and Matt highlight some of the action from Smackdown, until Jackie sends the show over to Kevin Patrick in the arena.
Ridge Holland
After picking up a victory over Cesaro on Smackdown, Ridge Holland has a few words for Talking Smack viewers. Kevin begins by asking Ridge about his win, and brings up Sheamus’ involvement in the match. Ridge says “two weeks ago Sheamus told Cesaro that I’m 10 times the man he(Cesaro) is, and tonight I proved it.” Kevin looks ahead to next week, and asks about the huge 12 man gauntlet match. Ridge explains “whatever you want to call it, you look at Sheamus... he’s the next Number One Contender to the Intercontinental Championship.”After a quick word from Sheamus, Kevin pitches Talking Smack back over to Matt and Jackie, who sends the show to an ad break.

Toni Storm
Fresh of off the heels of her massive win on Friday Night Smackdown, Toni Storm is backstage with Kevin Patrick, who has a few questions for Toni. Kayla kicks off the interview by asking Toni how she’s feeling, after pinning Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a tag team match. Storm says “I can’t describe how much of a big deal this is for someone like me. It’s been so the hour is, but I didn’t let anything get me down. I wanted a match with Charlotte Flair, and I beat Charlotte Flair... and now I’m going to get a title match. You know what I call that? A Merry Christmas!” Kevin looks ahead to Storm’s Christmas Eve Championship opportunity, and asks Toni how she would feel about being called the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Storm tells Kevin “I do like the sound that!” Kevin thanks Toni for her comments, and Talking Smack returns to the studio.

Drew McIntyre
Moments after retrieving Angela from Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss, and receiving a challenge from Moss to a singles duel at Day 1, Drew McIntyre is backstage with Kevin Patrick. Kevin fires away with questions, and asks Drew if he accepts the challenge from Madcap Moss. Drew tells Talking Smack viewers “of course I accept. I’m excited, I haven’t seen to much of Moss in the ring. I have big plans for 2022, and they don’t involve starting the year with a loss.” Drew quickly moves on, and Kevin tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
