After the latest edition of Smackdown, WWE taped a brand new episode of Talking Smack.
The show featured the new Intercontinental Champion, an appearance from Lacey Evans, as well as a visit from Riddle. Check it out:
Talking Smack (6/11)
-Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp.
-The hosts highlight a few moments from the latest episode of Smackdown, and it’s time for the show’s first interview.
Gunther w/ Ludwig Keiser
Coming off of the heels of a monumental victory on Smackdown, Gunther is backstage with Megan Morant, who asks the new Intercontinental Champion about the “statement” he made on Friday. Ludwig Keiser interrupts, and tells Megan “he certainly made a statement, and that statement is that nobody is worthy of stepping on the mat that is so sacred to us. No one is more worthy of being the Intercontinental Champion than Gunther.” Keiser closes by asking “If not the ‘Ring General’, then who?” Gunther finally steps in, and closes the interview by telling viewers “from this day fourth, this title is the greatest prize in all of this sport… because to us, the mat is sacred.” Gunther and Ludwig move on, and Megan sends the show back to the studio.

-Matt and Jackie highlight a few more matches from Friday night, until Kayla Braxton chimes in with another guest.
Lacey Evans
Moments after becoming the first Superstar to qualify for this years Women’s Money In The Bank match, Lacey Evans has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Kayla asks Lacey about her night on Smackdown, and Evans says “with what I’ve been through so far, going back and fourth from Raw to Smackdown, they needed me here tonight, and they gave me an opportunity that I needed. I’m going to money in the frickin’ bank!” Kayla thanks Lacey for stopping by, and Talking Smack returns to the studio.
⁃Matt recaps a few more segments from Friday’s Smackdown, and throws the show over to the arena for the final time.
Riddle
The next challenger to “The Head of the Table” and “Tribal Chief” of WWE is up next, and the final interview is underway! Megan asks Riddle where his head is at right now, after defeating Sami Zayn on Smackdown, and earning an opportunity to face the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion next week. Riddle explains “it’s pretty surreal, but I knew it was coming. I knew I would get that vengeance for my buddy Randy. To think that I’m gonna challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship… I just wish Randy could be here to take in this moment with me.” Riddle goes on to say “ but I also realize that we’re dealing with The Bloodline, so I have to have eyes in the back of my head, and do what it takes to get that Championship around this bro’s waist.” Riddle moves on, and Megan tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
-The hosts share a few final thoughts on last night’s Smackdown, until Talking Smack comes to a close.
