During last night's RAW episode, another match was added to next month's Money in the Bank PPV Event, where WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will defend his WWE Title against Kofi Kingston. The opening segment of RAW last night saw The All Mighty WWE Champion take great pleasure in reminding the fans that he's beaten Drew McIntyre once again and McIntyre can no longer challenge him for the WWE Championship. As Lashley was celebrating with MVP and his entourage, they were interrupted by the New Day.
Kofi Kingston then pointed out the fact that he pinned Lashley on RAW a number of weeks ago and he is challenging Lashley for the WWE Title at Money in the Bank, which Lashley gladly accepted.
The 2021 Money in the Bank PPV Event is set to take place on Sunday, July 18th from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
