WWE Title Match For The Day 1 PPV Has Been Changed, Big E Comments

It was previously reported that the opening segment of last night's RAW show saw "The Visionary" Seth Rollins reveal that he will cash-in his opportunity to challenge WWE Champion Big E for the WWE Title at WWE's first-ever Day 1 PPV Event, but it was announced later in the show that if Kevin Owens could beat WWE Champion Big E in a Non-Title Main Event Matchup, then Owens would be added to the WWE Title Match at Day 1 to make it a Triple Threat Match.

The match, which saw Seth on commentary, ended up with Owens baiting The Visionary into attacking him and forcing the disqualification and Owens securing the victory, which means that the Day 1 PPV Event will now see WWE Champion Big E defend his WWE Title against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens in a Triple Threat Match.

Immediately following RAW, WWE Champion Big E spoke with Sarah Schreiber on his reaction to the match at Day 1 being changed and how the WWE Universe will see a different side of him in Atlanta.

WWE's first-ever Day 1 PPV is set to take place on New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1st, 2022 inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
