WWE Will Not Be Holding a PPV in December This Year; Two Events Scheduled in January

-- WWE has changed up their PPV calendar for later this year and as a result of it, there will be no PPV in December, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Originally, WWE had scheduled a PPV on December 12 in Rosemont, IL but later changed that to December 19 with a location to be determined later. However, they have since now canceled that event as well but will be moving forward with two PPVs in the month of January.

-- On January 1, 2022, the event will be called "WWE Day 1" and it is set to emanate from Atlanta, GA at the State Farm Arena while later in the month on January 29, WWE holds their annual Royal Rumble from St. Louis, MO. The rest of the PPV calendar will see WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on October 21 and then Survivor Series next month on November 21.
