WWE World Heavyweight Title Vacated; Match To Crown New Champion Set For Saturday Night's Main Event

After injuring his shoulder during a spot in a match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins has been forced to vacate his World Heavyweight Title.

On last night's WWE Raw, GM Adam Pearce shared that Rollins has undergone "major surgery" as a result of the attack by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker and would consequently be stripped off his belt. It was then revealed that a new Heavyweight champion would be crowned at November's Saturday Night's Main Event with CM Punk taking on the winner of a battle royal to take place later on during Raw.

Later on in the night, Pearce removed Breakker and Reed from the battle royal which was ultimately won by Jey Uso. As a result, Uso and Punk will now face off at Saturday Night's Main Event and whomever wins will become the new World Heavyweight Champion. The event takes place on November 1 in Salt Lake City, UT.
