WWE WrestleMania Rumors: John Cena, Undertaker, Bray Wyatt, Goldberg, more

-- As of last month, the Undertaker was not being booked for WrestleMania 36 this year, but within the past two weeks, rumors have started swirling that he may end up on the card against an unlikely opponent: AJ Styles. While there has been no direction implying this with Taker off TV, it will be something to keep an eye on in the weeks leading up to April PPV. Styles - who has been sidelined due to a separated shoulder - is expected to be near full health by WrestleMania.

-- John Cena, who recently went on record to state that he is free and would like to be a part of WrestleMania - is set to appear on Smackdown later this month. According to the Observer, Cena's role is already "locked in" and the WrestleVotes account noted that WWE is giving him full freedom to do whatever he wishes and that most signs point to a match. The account then threw out the names Goldberg or The Fiend Bray Wyatt as possible opponents with the Wyatt match possibly carrying an underlying storyline of Cena going for a record 17th title win.

-- If either of the above matches ends up taking place, the report added that Roman Reigns could end up taking on whoever isn't facing Cena - so that would mean either Reigns vs. Wyatt (which is the expected direction as of now) for the Universal title or Reigns vs. Goldberg in a match that Vince McMahon probably wants to do at some point. Finally, a recent article at Sports Illustrated, a suggestion was made about the possibility of Vince throwing everyone a "curveball" by having Goldberg beat Wyatt at Super ShowDown, thus making any potential Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns or Goldberg vs. John Cena match at WrestleMania for the Universal title.
