WWE's SummerSlam Event Reportedly Almost Sold Out

WWE's biggest PPV Event of the summer and one of WWE's big four PPV Events SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 21st from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was rumored that WWE Hall of Famer Edge is set to wrestle on the show, but an opponent has yet to be name, and it was also rumored that WWE legend John Cena will go up against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event.

WWE SummerSlam is shaping up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest PPV Events WWE has had in a while and earlier this week, pre-sale tickets for SummerSlam went on sale, which is said to have sold at least several thousand tickets, and at one point, there were more than 2,000 people waiting in the queue outside of Ticketmaster. It was also mentioned that around 36,000 – 37,000 tickets have already been sold, with Ticketmaster revealing that the “current capacity” for SummerSlam is 41,661.

The Allegiant Stadium, where SummerSlam is set to take place, can hold up to 65,000 fans for football games, which can be expanded to 72,000 fans, while the capacity for soccer games is 61,000.
