-- Earlier this year, it was reported that the contracts of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were coming up due and that AEW was in serious negotiations in an attempt to lock them up to new multi-year contract, though, there was an outside albeit minor belief that they could end up in WWE. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the prevailing belief is that all three as well as Adam Page will now be staying with AEW.
-- The report notes that as of a couple of months ago, WWE was under the impressions that they had a good chance at snagging Omega in 2024 and he was the most coveted talent that would potentially be a free agent. That belief has " gone cold" and it is assumed that officials within WWE now are resigned to the fact that Omega will be staying in AEW. Furthermore, Tony Khan has reportedly been making big money offers under the assumption that AEW is set to cash in big when their TV deals are renewed.
