WWE News: Tour Sellout, Signing Amateur Wrestler, Batista

- WWE.com has announced that both shows scheduled for the Tour of Defiance sold out in one day. This mark the first time in WWE history two shows in the same building have sold out in one day. As reported yesterday, the first show sold out in six minutes and the second show sold out in less than two hours. More than $900,000 in tickets were sold for these two events.

- Batista appeared at the Valentine's luncheon on Friday. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz at the Pentagon in Washington, DC hosted it. Batista sign autographs and greeted wounded servicemen who were being honored at the luncheon. To read the complete article, click here.

-According to Star Tribune, WWE is interested in amateur wrestler Damion Hahn. The article mentions that he has received a letter from WWE showing interest. WWE officials, particularly Gerald Brisco, seek out amateurs based on the success of Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar in making the transition into professional wrestling.
