Jonathan Coachman announces that "Julia" has been eliminated from the RAW diva search and he tells the rest of the ladies that they will have to seduce a former WWE superstar.
After the RAW opening hits, we see several WWE superstars already standing in the ring. Edge, Matt Hardy, Chris Jericho, Kane and Evolution (minus Triple H) are the final few to emerge and it appears everyone on the RAW roster is in the ring except for Triple H and Chris Benoit. Eric Bischoff finally comes out and talks about the Iron Man Match. He also announces that the winner of that match will face the winner of a 20-man battle royal, featuring the wrestlers already in the ring.
20 Man Battle Royal
- William Regal is eliminated first, by Evolution. Edge and Chris Jericho then eliminate Tyson Tomko before taking out Chuck Palumbo. As we come back from commercial, we're informed that Kane eliminated Val Venis and Matt Hardy. Hardy then returned to the ring to attack Kane. Rodney Mack and someone I didn't recognize (I think Steven Richards maybe) eliminated Hurricane so Rosey took out both of them before Edge (with some help from Jericho) threw out Rosey. Tajiri then eliminates both La Resistance members, first Sylvain Grenier and then Rob Conway. Kane eliminates Tajiri. We're back and eight men are still left in the battle royal: Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Edge, Kane, Batista, Ric Flair, Maven and Rhyno. Kane beats up everyone and then goes head-to-head with Batista who takes him down with a spinebuster. Batista gets up and is greeted by a Gore from Rhyno, allowing the others to recover. Maven then eliminates Flair and Rhyno is eliminated by Batista. Kane is then ganged up on by Edge, Batista, Orton and Jericho and eliminated. Orton then pushes Maven out as Edge and Jericho eliminate Batista. Jericho then turns around and suddenly punches Edge out of the ring, leaving himself and Orton as the final two men. Finally, after an immense struggle Orton kicks Jericho and eliminates him to win the battle royal and become the new #1 contender for the World title.
When we come back, the remaining divas will seduce a former WWE superstar.
Jonathan Coachman tells the divas that they have 20 seconds to seduce a former WWE superstar. The first woman enters a room and it is revealed that the former superstar is Kamala and obviously the seduction does not work well. The second diva asks Kamala to show her how a bodyslam works but he just yells and rubs his stomach. One by one each diva tries her best moves but Kamala doesn't get seduced. Jim Ross tells us to go vote on who we want eliminated next.
We join Stacy Keibler, Ivory and Linda McMahon at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. They basically try to convince young people to vote.
The remaining diva contestants come out in their bikinis. Coach goes through each of them and tells us how to vote for the woman we want to win.
Backstage, Triple H congratulates Randy Orton on his battle royal win. Orton tells Triple H that it will be his honor to face him at Summerslam and after a pause, Triple H shakes his hand and says that he's the Game and he doesn't need any luck.
Chris Benoit vs. Triple H - Iron Man Match
- Chris Benoit put Triple H into the Crippler Crossface, but Triple H tries to sneak out. Benoit counters and rolls Triple H up for a pinfall to get the first fall. At around the 30-minute mark, Benoit misses a flying headbutt and Triple H capitalizes by nailing Benoit with an Irish whip followed by a Pedigree to gain the second fall via pinfall. Only a couple minutes later, Triple H hits a reverse suplex onto the steel steps. Benoit can't get back in on time and is counted out to give Triple H a 2-1 lead in falls. With just under 22 minutes left, Triple H gains his third fall after hitting a spinebuster for the pin. At about the 45 minute mark, Benoit locks in the Sharpshooter and gets Triple H to tap out, closing the score to 3-2 in favor of Trips. Just three minutes later, Benoit puts on the Crippler Crossface to take another fall and tie up the match. This prompts Batista and Ric Flair to come down to the ring to support Triple H. Ref bump ensues and Flair throws in a chair for Triple H, who clocks Benoit in the back of the head with it. Another ref comes running in but Benoit kicks out. An angry Triple H then decks the new referee and with less than 4 minutes left, the three Evolution members triple team Benoit. Finally, Eugene comes through the audience and saves Benoit, cleaning house on all Evolution members. Stone Cold Stunner on Flair, Rock Bottom on Triple H and a dropkick to Batista. Bischoff (who came down with the second ref) climbs up on the apron but Eugene nails him too before picking up the chair and clocking Triple H with it. With ten seconds left, Benoit struggles up and covers Triple H as the original ref rolls over and counts three to give Benoit his fourth fall and the victory.
End of show.
