*Here is a portion of an article from IGN.com talking about John Cena's new movie and his co-star from the television show Nip/Tuck:
November 04, 2004 - Kelly Carlson, star of FX's Nip/Tuck, has joined the cast of Fox and WWE Films' The Marine, according to today's Hollywood Reporter. Carlson will star opposite WWE wrestler John Cena, the self-proclaimed "Doctor of Thuganomics."
Cena stars in the action flick as an injured Marine who returns from combat to find that his wife (Carlson) is being held hostage by a murderous diamond thief. The Marine must race against the clock to save her and, no doubt, beat the crap out of everybody in the process.
*Here is the preview for Survivor Series that was included in the Time Warner Cable booklet:
"There will be no immunity or alliances in this fight to the finish. The ferocious superstars of the WWE meet one-on-one and head-to-head in this single elimination tournament to tough it out and prove they've got what it takes."
It looks as though either WWE or Time Warner made a mistake about a single elimination tournament?
*As reported earlier today, the WWE released their Armageddon Logo. Reader John Permaul has sent in a tidbit on what the WWE Armageddon Promotional Poster looks like:
The December 2004 RAW magazine that came out last week, which features both Trish and Lita on the cover, has the Armaggedon advertisement inside. It features a view of the sky and orange clouds above the Big Show. The Big Show is looking down at the camera, with one foot postioned to stomp on the camera.
Also, this magazine has a story on Simon Dean, a look at Lita and Trish, and this month's Spotlight Superstar is the recently released A-Trian. In another interesting note, the theme song for the released Gail Kim appears in the WWE cd that will be coming out soon.
