Both come out without their respective partners as Tajiri unsurprisingly gets the better reception of the two. From the initial lockup Conway grabs an arm, Tajiri rolls free and gets a reversal, armdrags him down, Conway gets up manages another reversal and punches Tajiri in the back. Tajiri comes back with a couple of stiff kicks, Conway reverses an Irish whip, charges, Tajiri goes up and over and Monkey flips Conway. Conway gets up, him and Tajiri exchange a punch before Conway throws Tajiri to the ropes. Tajiri puts the brakes on, Conway charges, catches Tajiri who goes for a kick, misses a swing and finds himself trapped in the Tarantula. Tajiri then lands a dropkick to the back of Conway and gets a nearfall. Conway retreats to the corner, Tajiri attempts another Monkey flip but Conway holds onto Tajiri and throws him down to the canvas. Conway goes on the attack, throwing Tajiri down again before hitting a Tilt-a-whirl-backbreaker off the ropes. Conway covers but doesn't hook the leg so he only gets a nearfall. Tajiri rolls away, Conway follows, kicks him in the back and taunts Tajiri with the Quebec flag and flaunts it in his face. Tajiri is Irish whipped to the corner and he crashes to the canvas upon impact and Conway follows up with an elbow to the back of the Japanese Buzzsaw. Conway drags Tajiri away from the corner, gets another nearfall and goads Tajiri to get up cockily slapping him at the same time. Tajiri retaliates with punches to the midsection, Conway simply punches him back down and puts him into an Abdominal stretch putting more pressure on his concentrated area of attack that being the injured back of Tajiri. Tajiri manages to maneuver his arms around and reverse the hold however Conway simply hiptosses him down but both men are favouring their backs. Conway is on his feet though and he recovers before the fallen Tajiri and he lands another punch to the back of Tajiri, Conway goes to push Tajiri into the ropes but Tajiri combats this with an elbow to the face. Conway punches Tajiri into the ropes but he comes back and takes a charging Conway down with a Crescent kick. Tajiri rolls away to the corner and helps himself to his feet, Conway charges eats an elbow and Tajiri sets up for a Tornado DDT. Tajiri takes flight but Conway keeps a hold of him spins him round, balances on the top rope and hits an impressive one man Au Revoir, (who needs Sylvain Grenier) covers and gets the duke 1-2-3 to end a very good opening match. Kudos to both competitors. Here is Your Winner: ROBERT CONWAY.

Gene Snitsky vs Caprice Coleman
The Baby Killers entrance music has been tweaked a little as The Words "It's Not My Fault" can be heard and seen on the Titantron. Snitsky gets booed on his way to the ring and the Jobber gets no reaction. Snitsky does his angry man routine on each side of the ring as a sign is shown, "I Don't Give A Snitsky" (LOL) neither do I. Snitsky offers Coleman the chance to "Leave before I hurt you real bad". Coleman looks around for a moment confused but he remains defiant and says he wants to stay and go at it. Snitsky remains straight faced as the bell rings to get this squash underway. They lockup, Coleman applies a side headlock, Snitsky picks him up and throws him across the ring. Coleman however lands on his feet comes off the ropes and charges into a Snitsky shoulderblock which puts him down. Snitsky growls at the fans before landing two elbow drops and he lightly brushes off Coleman with his boot as Coleman seeks solace in the corner. Coleman gets to his feet and Snitsky crashes into him crushing him in the process. Coleman wobbles forward, Snitsky pushes him back by placing his hand on his throat, he brings him forward to the middle of the ring just propping the jobber up talks trash calling him a "Dumb Dumb person" growls, takes aim goes back a little and a boot to the face takes him down. Snitsky picks up Coleman, lifts into a Gorilla Press, drops him onto his shoulders and into a Powerslam ala Johnny Stamboli, Fuhgettaboutit. Snitsky covers and gets the 1-2-3. Val Venis vs Steven Richards
Helllllooooo Ladies, The Big Valbowski enters to a nice pop from the crowd and he does his usual routine and the towel is deposited in the corner. The GM and My Boss Steven Richards gets some heat from the crowd as he makes his way down reminding us all that it's his show which it is and he enters the ring and him and Val engage in a staredown before each talk trash and break off as the bell rings to get this contest officially started. Both lockup and after some jostling Val is backed into the corner. Stevie backs off spits in disgust and they lockup again. Val applies a side headlock, off the ropes, takes Richards down with a shoulderblock and then an armdarg takedown. Val keeps hold of the arm, Richards rises up, Val with a twisting armbar and a go-behind and Stevie is forced down. Val scores with knees to the back and applies a Surfboard before falling backwards. Richards gets up, Val goes back to working the arm forces Richards onto one knee and then into a crouching position. Richards is asked but refuses to quit, he gets up backs Val into a corner slowly backs up, but offers no clean break as he lands a cheap shot in the form of a punch to the face and Val is sent staggering into the ropes. Richards lands another punch, shakes off the arm that Val had been working on, Val reverses a whip to the ropes follows up with a knee to the midsection and again, scores with a Russian legsweep and Val covers no he mounts Richards and punches away at the head. Val gets up though and debates with the referee as Richards gets up, Val turns towards Richards who hotshots him into the top rope and the tide is now turned as Val rolls around in pain on the canvas. Richards drops an elbow and unloads with boots to the chest, picks him up rams his head into the turnbuckle and viciously punches away at the back of Venis. Val is placed into the second rope where he is spiked twice by a charged up Richards and then dropkicked in the back. Richards covers but Val escapes defeat by grabbing onto the bottom rope at two. Richards gets Val in position for a suplex but plays to the crowd allowing Val to surprise him with a small package. Fortunately for Richards he gets out at two and goes back to the attack immediately, not wasting any time by landing a boot to the midsection and scoring with a jumping neckbreaker. Richards covers for a nearfall then takes Val to the corner slaps his chest and backs up for a charge but Val moves and Stevie gets crotched in the corner before falling to the canvas. This gives Val time to recover, both get up, Val and Richards exchange a series of chops to the chest which turns to a slugfest which Val wins and he continues to pummel Richards before clotheslining and then backelbowing him down. Val comes off the ropes and a shoulderblock takes Richards down, Val picks him up, Irish whips him, charges and follows up with a clothesline in the corner and follows up with more pummeling slugs before grabbing Richards and gripping him with one arm around the throat area. Val plays to the crowd picks Richards up and brings him down with a reverse sitdown powerbomb and into a cover. 1-2-no Richards kicks out instinctively at two and he stays alive. Val is in disbelief, he picks Richards up by the hair and throws him into the ropes. Val puts his head down too early though and Richards slaps him in the back of the head. Val is crouched down as Richards staggers into him from behind runs into the ropes and right into a spinebuster from the now recovered Venis. Richards is down, Val goes to the top, comes off and hits the Money Shot. This one is over as Val covers for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: VAL VENIS.

Sylvain Grenier vs Rhyno
Sylvain comes out alone and this will be a tough test for him but let's see if La Resistance can go 2-0 over Rhyjiri this week. Sylvain gets heat as he makes his way to the ring and gets more heat when he starts to sing. When's his first CD coming out? (LOL). Thankfully Rhyno's music hits to the crowd's delight and to Sylvain's annoyance and Rhyno sprints to the ring where he's met by boots and punches by Grenier. However Rhyno fights back as Sylvain foolishly attempts to remove his ring jacket and he unloads with punches of his own, whip to the ropes reversal by Grenier results in Rhyno blocking a hiptoss attempt and executing one of his own. Rhyno scores with a couple of armdrags and Press Slams Grenier down to the canvas. Following a shoulderblock Grenier wisely rolls outside and removes his jacket while Rhyno plays to the crowd on the top turnbuckle and upon seeing this Grenier immediately gets back in and blindsides the Man Beast and punches him in the back puts him on his shoulders and falls backwards to the canvas. Grenier follows up with kicks and elbows and covers for a nearfall and Grenier isn't happy when Rhyno kicks out. Grenier continues to punch and kick away but a loud USA chant stirs Rhyno who rises up and punches back. Rhyno comes off the ropes but he gets flapjacked down as Grenier flips up and wiggles to the crowd looking pleased with his efforts thus far. Grenier drops an elbow onto the fallen Rhyno, another nearfall and Rhyno seeks solace in the ropes, Grenier approaches and proceeds to choke him with his knee. Grenier then kicks at Rhyno in the corner, picks him up, Irish whip and a dropkick, cover, Rhyno wisely grabs the ropes. Rhyno gets a punch in but Grenier keeps up his offence and punches and chokes him in the corner again, goes to ram his head into the turnbuckle, Rhyno blocks and both exchange blows before Rhyno turns the tables and it's Grenier's head that meets the turnbuckle. Grenier reverses an Irish whip and Rhyno crashes and burns before dropping to the outside. Sylvain follows him out picks him up, both get back in, Grenier covers for another nearfall, picks up Rhyno by the hair, knees him in the shoulder, kneedrop off the ropes, another nearfall. Grenier applies a chinlock whilst raking away at Rhyno's face at the same time. Rhyno gets up, punches free, Grenier hits Rhyno with a knee to the gut and he applies a sleeper. Rhyno clutches at air before running backwards resulting in Grenier crashing into the corner but Rhyno still isn't free so he runs forwards and Grenier's head bounces off the turnbuckle and he crashes to the canvas as Rhyno is finally free. Rhyno charges forward taking Grenier down with two clotheslines, Grenier off the ropes, he slips behind Rhyno but Rhyno comes off the ropes and takes him back down with a flying shoulderblock. Grenier begs for a timeout, Rhyno doesn't buy it and lands a kick to the gut, Rhyno goes to whip Grenier who surprises him with a knee to the midsection and then a powerslam. Cover 1-2 kickout by Rhyno. Grenier gets Rhyno up, Rhyno reverses an Irish whip scores with a big backbodydrop and sets up for the Gore. Sylvain slowly gets to his feet, Rhyno charges, Sylvain leaps over and looks smugly but as he turns round he can't sidestep a second Gore as the Rhyno Express Train ploughs through him. Rhyno covers for the 1-2-3 to make it Rhyjiri 1 La Resistance 1. Here is Your Winner: RHYNO.
Coach & Loyd shill for Raw. Who will be World Heavyweight Champion? End of Show.
Don't forget Armageddon tonight folks, it's on PPV in the UK and I'm not sure if we get Heat before so I can't say yet if I'll be back with another recap this week. If it's on then I'll post a recap later on but if not then I'll be back next week for regular Heat. Shaun.
