- There has been some internal criticism over WWE's decision to change the tag titles just before the PPV. The feeling is that such a move lessened the already minimal anticipation for the match and simply made the PPV even less meaningful. With all that in mind, however, WWE still feels RVD/Mysterio vs. Suzuki/Dupree could be one of the show's better in-ring performances.
- Various websites have reported a rumor that the Dawn vs. Jackie match will feature a turn on Jackie, although no one has been able to confirm that rumor. Thus, while it is likely to happen, anything related to the finish of that match should be viewed as "speculation."
- Although many inside WWE are pushing for the Cruiserweight belt to come off Spike Dudley, Funaki does not have a strong internal following either. It is not known if WWE will go with a title switch at the PPV.
