* Thanks to rajahwwf.com reader John Permaul for sending in the following recap of Mae Young & Moolah's appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno":
The segment began with a video showing Moolah getting a pin fall over Victoria. After taking the stage Leno asked Moolah how she got here name and got into wrestling. She stated how she was in it for the money, and that she was from a
family of 12 brothers. Her mom died when she was 8, and as a youngster her dad took her to many wrestling events.
Jay Leno then showed both Moolah's and Mae Young's diver licenses to prove that they are indeed over 80. Moolah then said how Mae is older than her. Mae follows this up by saying everywhere they go Moolah always brings up the fact that Mae is older.
Mae then told stories about when she first started. She stated how she beat the then champ after pushing her to the side when she started out. She also told a gambling story, where she and a "good-looking" man both were gambling at
a casino. Afterwards, the man tried to rob her and Mae beat him up. This man, who was much bigger than her, was so beat up that his wife filed a lawsuit against Mae. In court the charges were dropped after she picked up a lawyer.
Snoop Dogg, who was sitting next to Mae, enjoyed these stories she told. Moolah added another story. Early in their careers they were traveling with other men wrestlers, and one of them tried to "feel" Mae while she was sleeping. Moolah stated how Mae woke up soon after and gave the wrestler what he wanted after pulling out her chest padding. Snoop was cracking up after this story.
The next thing shown was a clip of when 3 Minute Warning did at splash on Mae Young. Leno and Snoop were surprised by the clip. Leno said some young people can't even take that type of punishment, and Snoop had a look of anguish on his face. Moolah stated how age to her and Mae is just a number, and it shows that the elderly can go out and do whatever they want.
The segment ended with Moolah stating how WrestleMania 21 will be there in California next year, and she asks Jay Leno to be there, possibly in her corner if she wrestles. Jay Leno states that he'll be there for WrestleMania 21.
