Welcome back everybody, it's time for Heat and the action begins this week with...............................................................................................
Viscera vs Val Venis
To my knowledge this series is tied at 1-1 so I guess this is the rubber match. We see a close up of a hot chick during Val's entrance. Val gets on the apron and chucks the towel and a man catches it yet again and he's seen on camera looking quite proud. It's official Val Venis is Gay (LOL). That's three weeks in a row a man has got your towel Val! Bell rings and both lockup with Viscera eventually backing Val to the corner and delivering a stinging chop that sends Val reeling. Viscera asks Val if he wants another one, Val dodges and delivers roundhouses to Viscera who absorbs them and shoves Val to the canvas. Val gets up and charges in mounting Viscera and pounding away on his head. Viscera throws Val down again. Viscera picks up Val, Val slips behind shoves Viscera into the corner and delivers three short arm clotheslines. Viscera thwarts Val's Irish whip attempt and clotheslines Val down. Viscera scoops up Val and hangs him in the corner in a tree-of-woe position. Val grabs ahold of Viscera's leg but Viscera breaks free delivers a slap to the chest before backing that ass up into Val. Viscera stands on top of Val whilst holding onto the top rope before slamming down Val. Val goes to the corner, Viscera charges in, Val moves and schoolboys Viscera for a two count. Val ducks Viscera's grab attempt and drops him down with a chopblock. Val hits a botched bulldog off the ropes and goes outside and up to the top rope. Val readies for the Money Shot but Viscera sees this and rolls away, Val gets down and charges into a spinning heel kick. Viscera executes the embalmer on a groggy Val and it's over. 1-2-3. 2-1 Viscera. Here is Your Winner: VISCERA.
Still to come Simon Dean & Maven in action. They also have words for Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Up next Christian vs Chris Benoit from Raw.
Chris Benoit Raw promo airs.
Two weeks ago on Raw Chris Benoit pins Edge via a rollup. Last week on Raw Christian pins Benoit via Unprettier after Benoit is distracted via Tyson Tomko and Edge interference. Christian wins one at long last. He deserves a decent push in my view.
Don't Try This At Home.
Backlash "Triple H/Batista 2" promo airs.

Simon Dean & Maven vs CM Punk & Russell Simpson
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! Simon gives Coach a "Simon System" Bar and Coach and Maven exchange props on the ramp before the fitness guys make their way to the ring. The opposition are announced as "The Team of CM Punk" and Grisham later refers to them as Russell Simpson and Chad Collyer? Eh... Erm Whoopsie WWE. I don't watch ROH but even I know who CM Punk is but Grisham constantly refers to him as Chad Collyer blatantly ignoring and forgetting the fact that Collyer actually has been on the show before and is a completely different guy. I'm begging you to do your research and get the guy's name right. Anyways before the match the fitness guys show still footage that "explains" how Stone Cold beat them down two weeks ago on Raw. We see superimposed clips of Austin drinking the Simon System instead of beer. Simon insults the crowd and he and Maven say Austin is on the Simon System. Simon plugs Maven's abs and the Simon System again reminding us they use it and vow to show us what it can really do. Is Austin facing these at Backlash hmmm? Maven starts with Simpson, Simpson armdrags Maven. Simpson with a fireman carry takedown into an armbar. Maven gets to his feet, forearm. Simpson reverses into the ropes, hiptoss. Simpson works a wristlock and tags Punk in. Punk kicks Maven, locks in his own wristlock and lands kicks to the back of Maven. Punk with an armbar, Maven grabs the hair to send Punk into the ropes. Punk blocks Maven's punch instead landing one of his own but Punk turns and Simon runs across the apron and clotheslines him down. Maven stomps Punk and takes him to his corner as Simon holds him prone for Maven's open shots as the referee is busy with Simpson. Simon tags in and hits Punk with kneelifts before suplexing him and getting a two count. Simon wiggles and drops a leg across the fallen Punk picks him up and headbutts him into his corner in the midst of a massive "You Suck" chant. Simon stomps Punk, tag to Maven, Simon whips Punk into the ropes Punk steps over Simon but Maven hits Punk with a dropkick and gets another nearfall. Maven poses to boos, Punk tries to punch his way out of trouble but Maven boots Punk in the head. Maven picks up Punk whips him into the ropes, Punk hangs on as Maven's dropkick attempt meets air and his ass meets canvas and Punk drops to the mat as Maven crawls and tags in Simon but Punk manages to make the tag (albeit via Simon shoving him into his partner) and Punk drops to the outside. Simpson enters punching down Simon and backelbowing down Maven. Simpson unloads more punches to Simon, whips Simon into the ropes, Simon makes a blind tag as Simpson puts his head down too early and Simon boots Simpson in the head. Simon and Maven hoist Simpson up by the shoulders and a double throwdown/slam enables Maven to cover and get the pinfall just like that. 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: SIMON DEAN & MAVEN. Post match Maven holds Simpson as Simon forearms Punk off the apron then forces a "Simon System Bar" down Simpson's mouth before kicking and throwing him down and letting out one last Yeeeeeeaaaaaahh.
Still to come William Regal & Tajiri vs La Resistance in Last Chance World Tag Team Title Match for The Quebecers.
Up next Shawn Michaels vs Daivari from Raw.
Christian Raw promo airs. (I Love it). "Christian Rules"
WWE Slam of the Week: Muhammad Hassan & Daivari beat down Shawn Michaels on Raw Two weeks ago.
Daivari pins Shawn Michaels on Raw after Hassan delivers a low blow behind the referee's back. Later HBK appeals to Hulk Hogan to be his tag team partner against Hassan & Daivari at Backlash. I thought he was going to ask Marty Jannetty and was disappointed when he said Hogan as "The Rockers" would give a better match but hey that's just my opinion.
Batista promo airs.
Commercial.
Highlights of Batista interview from Raw. Triple H interrupts but Batista blocks his Pedigree attempt by dumping him over the top rope. Batista and JR raise their hands before Triple H announces he's taking on JR tomorrow on Raw. JR is in shock as Batista stares down Triple H and the commentators hype this mismatch.
Backlash "Triple H/Batista 2" promo airs.
La Resistance vs William Regal & Tajiri (Last Chance World Tag Team Title Match)
No singing this week by Sylvain. The champs are met by a La Resistance punchdown in the ring but the champs gain the upperhand and send La Resistance to the outside to regroup. We settle down and Regal starts with Conway, Regal slaps on a side headlock as a USA chant breaks out. Shouldn't it be U-K U-K? Conway muscles free and attempts to work the arm before applying a headlock of his own. Regal sends Conway into the ropes, Regal with a hiptoss, dropkick and forearms in the corner. Regal tags in Tajiri and continues to dish out the forearms. Regal sends Conway into the ropes, Regal with a drop toehold and Tajiri follows in with a dropkick to the head of Conway. Conway tries to chop Tajiri who responds with a stiff kick to Conway's back and another one. Conway bounces off the ropes into a Tajiri spinning heel kick. Tajiri gets a nearfall grabs an arm, twists it round, Conway with a knee to the gut tags in Grenier. Grenier grabs Tajiri, Tajiri slaps Grenier's chest, Grenier cuts off a whip to the ropes by reeling in Tajiri booting him and nailing a back suplex. Grenier covers for a two count, Grenier picks Tajiri up by the hair, punches him down. Grenier stomps a mudhole in the corner and argues with the referee which enables Conway to choke Tajiri illegally. Regal is stopped from running in by the referee as Grenier stomps Tajiri and goes for a tag but he opts to pick up Tajiri then make the tag and Grenier holds Tajiri for a Conway open shot. Conway lands punches and kicks, Grenier drops down off the apron and chokes Tajiri illegally in the bottom rope but the referee is with Regal again who's protesting and turns to see Conway pummel Tajiri in the corner and tag out. Grenier with a suplex and nearfall locks in a chinlock. Tajiri gets to a vertical base, backelbows free, Grenier cuts off the momentum with a knee to the gut, attempts a slam, Tajiri slips behind and falls backward into his corner making the tag to Regal as Grenier slips. Regal enters elbowing down La Resistance before back bodydropping Conway who rolls to the outside. Grenier nails Regal in the back from behind, Regal cuts off a whip to the ropes, delivers a T-Bone suplex, Conway breaks up the count at one, Tajiri comes in kicks Conway into the corner and as Tajiri chops and stomps Conway in one corner Regal readies Grenier in the other. The champs whip the challengers hoping for a meeting of minds but a "dosey doh" by La Resistance results in Grenier clotheslining Regal to the outside and Conway booting Tajiri. La Resistance deliver Au Revoir to Tajiri and Grenier covers for the three. New Tag Team champions but wait Regal was the legal man. Mike Chioda realizes his mistake and calls La Resistance back and restarts the match as we go to.....................................................................................................
Edge Raw promo followed by Commercial.
We rejoin the action with Conway stomping on a fallen Regal. Conway punches and chokes Regal with his boot as he tags in Grenier. Grenier with boots and a choke tags in Conway and La Resistance execute Le Hart Attacke. Conway covers 1-2-no Regal stays alive and La Resistance can't believe it. Conway mounts Regal and delivers punches before driving Regal's head into the top turnbuckle. Grenier tags in and Regal is the victim of a punch and kick assault as Conway tags back in. Snapmare and a chinlock now applied by Conway. Conway wedges his knee into Regal's back, Regal gets to his feet, punches free, Conway punches back, both punch each other, Conway with a kick. Regal off the ropes kick to the head of Conway. Regal runs the ropes and both men clothesline each other. Both manage to clamber to their corners and tag out, and Tajiri ducks Grenier and chops him down. Conway gets the same treatment, Tajiri then kicks down both men, Grenier reverses into the ropes, Tajiri comes back with a springboard backelbow on Grenier. Tajiri ducks Conway hits him with a reverse straight kick. Tajiri boots Grenier, Greneir reverses an Irish whip but charges into the Tarantula. Tajiri breaks, Grenier ducks a Shining Wizard but Tajiri nails a dropkick to the face, cover 1-2-no broken up by Conway. Regal enters punching Conway down but the referee turns and ushers Regal out enabling Conway to grab a Quebec flag as Grenier holds Tajiri inplace. Tajiri dodges and Conway nails Grenier in the Grapefruits. Tajiri sprays Conway with green mist before turning off Grenier's lights with the Shining Wizard. Second time lucky I guess. Tajiri covers and it's Au Revoir La Resistance as this time the pinfall does count. No more title shots for the Quebecers. Here Are Your Winners & Still World Tag Team Champions: WILLIAM REGAL & TAJIRI. Post match Tajiri masks his face from the referee as Regal grabs a mic and says what an honour being Tag champion brings but he thrives on competition and states every team in the WWE has been beaten and he throws out an open challenge to any tag team in the world to show up and face them as they will be waiting. This prompts Coach to reveal he's making a call and bringing in two boys they don't want to face as the champs celebrate in the ring and Grisham shills for Raw before signing off and thanking us for watching. End of Show. I'll be back next week with Velocity & Heat if they're on as it's Raw & SD from MSG so I don't know whether they'll tape the weekend shows. I hope so but either way I'll be back next week. So until then take care, have a good week and I'll see you later. Peace, Shaun.
