Welcome aboard one and all. It's Judgment Day weekend and Velocity is here hopefully with cruiserweights galore that will erase the god awful SmackDown! this past week from all of our minds. Damn this show has SmackDown! recaps so maybe not. Oh well first out of the chute this week is.................................................

MNM w/Melina vs Stevie Lee & Jason Bates
The champions make their way out for this non-title match and Melina is looking hot this week. I guess Mercury's pulling double duty this week too. Nitro starts off with Lee and quickly delivers a knee to the gut. Nitro clubs Lee down, punch, Irish whip. Nitro charges but eats turnbuckle and Lee takes advantage with an armdrag and dropkick. Cross tags in delivers a punch to Nitro who is then the recipient of a double suplex. Cross drops a leg, cover gets zilch and Cross tries an armbar. Nitro forces him to the corner by the hair, traps him and elbows him in the head. Nitro with a headbutt then stomps a mudhole in Cross. Nitro drives Cross' head into Mercury's boot and tags him in. Mercury delivers a short arm clothesline lands a kick and unloads with punches to the head of Cross. Mercury executes a neckbreaker and covers for a two count. Mercury tags out and holds Cross for Nitro's punches before punching Cross down himself. Nitro gets a one count. Nitro with mounted punches then delivers an impressive breakdance style legdrop and covers this time for a two. Nitro sends Cross to the corner with an uppercut. Mercury tags in, MNM doubleteam Cross with boots. Mercury chokes Cross in the ropes and Melina gets a slap in behind the referee's back. Mercury with a snapmare and now a vice. Cross attempts to backelbow free, Mercury with a knee, Cross reverses into the ropes and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Mercury tags out, Nitro grabs the leg of Cross who manages to lean forward and make the tag anyway and Lee counters Nitro's roundhouse attempt with shots of his own. Nitro bounces off the ropes into a big backbodydrop. Nitro off the ropes again, ducks Lee and hits him with a crescent kick. Nitro elbows Cross off the apron and signals for the snapshot. Nitro tags in Mercury and MNM deliver the Snapshot to Lee. Mercury covers for the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: MNM.

Still to come Akio & Spike Dudley vs Nunzio & Funaki.

Still to come John Cena vs The Bashams from SmackDown!

Judgment Day 'I Quit' promo airs.

History of Eddie Guerrero turning on Rey Mysterio. Eddie says 'nothing' on SmackDown! His last two promos were done on the wrong weeks in my opinion.

Chavo Guerrero vs Shannon Moore
Paul London makes his way out to do commentary on this match. London does his customary entrance before Steve makes my day (for once) by announcing London vs Chavo at Judgment Day. Give them 15 minutes and it's a possible showstealer. Shannon and Paul give each other props as London says he and Moore like similar things before delivering the fact of the week. Shannon wears his eye paint because he connected with the azugo tribe in the mountains of North Carolina. A small Shannon chant breaks out as he locks up with Chavo and Chavo works a go-behind which Moore reverses into a side headlock. Moore off the ropes takes down Chavo with a shouldertackle. Chavo cowers to the ropes on the canvas and Shannon mocks Chavo. Josh brings up London's recent losses to Chavo and London insists third time's a charm for him. Josh repeatedly reminds London that he's never pinned Chavo and London says that's right until Judgment Day and that it's not his fault all the cruiserweights don't like Chavo and ditched him out of the Battle Royal first a few months back. Back to the match, Chavo with another go-behind on Moore, Chavo into a side headlock takedown, Moore cradles for one, Chavo holds onto the headlock. Moore breaks free and shoves Chavo away. Chavo charges into an armdrag takedown into an armbar but gets to the ropes. Another lockup and both jostle to the corner, Moore ducks a punch and goes for a closed fist and as the referee separates the two Chavo cheap shots Moore with a boot and clubs him to the mat. Chavo lands an uppercut and a series of kicks before delivering a back suplex and getting a two count. Chavo kicks Moore and points at London. Chavo uppercuts Moore, poses then scoop slams Moore, delivers another boot and cinches in an armbar whilst pressing away at Moore's chin. Chavo continues to taunt London who simply holds the belt up to Chavo. Moore gets to his feet and delivers punches to Chavo's head. Moore runs the ropes, Chavo runs in with a knee to the gut. Chavo with a suplex hangs Moore on the top rope. Chavo uppercuts Moore onto the apron then chokes him in the ropes while taunting London again. Chavo steps onto the apron and jawjacks with London until Moore comes from behind Chavo and punches him off the apron. Moore comes out to roll Chavo back in, Chavo pleads for mercy, Moore blocks a roundhouse delivers punches and a kick. Moore runs the ropes ducks Chavo's swing attempt and clotheslines him down. Moore hits another clothesline, Chavo off the ropes, big backbodydrop by Moore. Moore with a boot to the gut runs the ropes and connects with a Mooregasm but can only get a two count. Chavo goes to the corner, Moore with an Irish whip, attempts a monkey flip, Chavo places Moore on the second rope, Chavo gets in a shot, Moore swats him away, goes to the top and comes off hitting Chavo with a cross body, upset 1-2-no. Moore attacks Chavo in the corner with kicks and punches, the referee sends him away again, Chavo rolls to the outside, Moore gives chase as Chavo gets back in followed by Moore who is greeted with kicks to the back. Chavo attempts a back suplex, Moore rolls backwards attempts a rollup off the ropes, Chavo holds on as Moore rolls back again but Chavo runs and hits him with a clothesline, Chavo with a kick, picks up Moore and hits the Gory Bomb while taunting London saying this is him at Judgment Day. No more for Moore. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: CHAVO GUERRERO. Post match London applauds Chavo while focusing on him and both talk trash.

We cut backstage to see Nunzio singing "When The Moon hits the sky like a big Pizza Pie it's amore" when Funaki interrupts. Nunzio asks his Paisan how he's doing and asks if he's ready for their match tonight. Funaki says yes. Nunzio says good. Funaki says before they go out he has a 'resson' for him. Nunzio asks what a resson is before Funaki says lesson. Nunzio questions as to how Funaki has a lesson for him. Funaki says Nunzio is always teaching him Italian to which Nunzio says it's pretty nice of him and he's a good guy and slaps himself on the back. Funaki says tonight he will teach Nunzio Japanese. Nunzio says he's a step ahead of Funaki as he already knows it and orders a Japanese Meal in English and in his American-Italian tone. Funaki corrects him and spouts some proper Japanese. Nunzio thinks Funaki's talking about his shoes and asks him what's wrong with them. Funaki continues, Nunzio attempts 'Kiki throw the dough'... Funaki cuts him off and says maybe next time and tells him to stick to Italian. Nunzio says forget about it it's not important as when's he going to need to know Japanese. Forget all that. He says Funaki had better have his head on straight tonight and be ready for their match. Nunzio urges them to go and as Nunzio walks off Funaki says he's got it and says fuhgettaboutit complete with hand gesture before walking off after his partner. Classic segment.

SmackDown! UK Summer Bash promo airs. WWE.Com for details.

Kurt Angle/Booker T/Sharmell history is recapped. Horrible story to this feud. Why not stick to both costing each other title shots. Should be a good match though. We are spared Kurt's apology from this week thank god. Steve and Josh run down the seven match card for Judgment Day.

Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio Judgment Day promo airs.

Nunzio & Funaki vs Spike Dudley & Akio
Main event time now and Akio has gone back to his pyjama wear look this week. I wouldn't be surprised if this match is the one replayed on Heat before Judgment Day. Nunzio starts things off with Spike Dudley as a small ECW chant starts to which Josh acknowledges. Nunzio backs Spike to the corner where Spike ducks his head outside and Nunzio backs off. Spike talls trash, ducks Nunzio and works a go-behind quickly into a side headlock. Nunzio sends Spike off the ropes, Spike with a shouldertackle drops Nunzio. Spike lets everyone know how proud he is of that. Spike runs the ropes, drops an elbow, nobody's home, Nunzio slams Spike, cover gets one. Nunzio armdrags Spike into an armbar. Spike off the ropes, Nunzio puts his head down early and Spike throws him down. Spike tags out and Akio kicks Nunzio's back. Nunzio is picked up and chopped into the ropes. Akio continues to kick and punch Nunzio. Nunzio off the ropes, ducks underneath Akio, Akio runs and dives over Nunzio, Akio charges Nunzio again who surprises him with a crucifix for a two count. Nunzio ducks Akio's swing attempt, hits a back suplex with a bridge for a one count. Nunzio with a front facelock tags in Funaki. Akio off the ropes, double backelbow followed up by a double elbowdrop. Funaki punches Akio, Akio reverses off the ropes, Funaki counters a hiptoss attempt with one of his own and follows up with an amdrag into an armbar. Funaki with an armwringer back into the armbar. Akio forearms free, chop, punch, Funaki off the ropes hangs on. Akio charges, Funaki with a kick to the gut, turns to knock a charging Spike off the apron but turns again to be nailed by a spinning side kick from Akio that sends Akio over the top rope but he hangs on and rolls back in to cover Funaki for a two as the referee checks that no-one is using the ropes. Akio picks up Funaki and throws him through the ropes and distracts the referee allowing Spike to drop Funaki onto the guardrail outside. Spike rolls Funaki back in, Akio scores another nearfall and tags Spike back in. Akio holds Funaki for a Spike punch, Spike and Funaki trade punches, Funaki whips Spike off the ropes, goes for a slam, Spike slips behind, Funaki catches Spike's leg spins him round and attempts an enziguiri but Spike ducks and quickly locks in a modified STF. Funaki sucks it up though and in frustration Spike breaks it and clubs Funaki in the back of the head. Spike drives Funaki into his corner and tags in Akio. Akio lands martial arts kicks to drop Funaki and Spike chokes Funaki by jamming his boot across his throat. Akio with a snapmare applies a sleeper on the canvas. Funaki gets to a vertical base as the crowd wills him on, backelbows free, Akio clubs the back, hits a spinning martial arts kick to the back to kill his momentum and covers for another nearfall. Akio bounces Funaki off the ropes, misses with a spin kick, Funaki whips Akio off the ropes and Akio takes his customary backbodydrop bump and both men are down. Both men tag out and Nunzio takes down Spike with two clotheslines and a spinning sidewalk slam. Nunzio fires up runs the ropes and dropkicks Spike right in the mush. Nunzio covers for two, Nunzio picks up Spike, Spike reverses an Irish whip, Spike charges into a high knee. Nunzio mounts the second rope and nails Spike with the Sicilian Slice and Nunzio covers for yet another two. Nunzio picks up Spike but Akio runs in and nails Nunzio with a crescent kick but it sends Nunzio to his corner and he tags in Funaki who comes off the top rope with a cross body onto Spike. Funaki delivers a tilt-a-whirl headscissors on Akio to send him through the ropes. Nunzio runs forwards and Funaki tosses him over the top rope onto Akio. Funaki fires up but Spike delivers a battering ram. Spike goes for the Dudley Dog off the ropes but Funaki thwarts it and pushes Spike headfirst into the ropes. Funaki quickly hooks Spike in a small package and gets the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: NUNZIO & FUNAKI. Who needs Mark Jindrak eh Nunz? A quick note on that. What idiotic booking for Mark Jindrak is he a face/heel who knows. Funaki kisses Nunzio's head as Nunzio points to Funaki post match.

Steve shills for Judgment Day and signs off. Keep it here for International Heat. Later Shaun.
