Welcome aboard fellow Velociters. A packed weekend of WWE action with special guest appearances starts with Velocity so let's get to our first match.
The Basham Brothers vs Teddy Hart & JD Michaels
Teddy Hart is in the house, along with a HBK ripoff. Josh makes note of Teddy's relation to Bret and Owen but confesses he knows nothing about Michaels. Josh also says Teddy is a third generation Hart and has some big shoes to fill. Steve notes Michaels has five years experience and is trying to break in. Hart kicks off with Doug and Doug puts Teddy down following a small jostle. Doug makes the cabinet signs before booting Hart. Snapmare, rear naked choke by Doug reversed into a hammerlock by Hart. Doug gets to his feet, Hart applies a headlock. Doug lifts for a back suplex, Hart slips behind and holds Doug. Doug elbows Hart and chops him down. Hart gets right back up, Doug with more chops, drives Hart's head into the corner. Doug talks trash, chops again and Irish whips Hart. Hart floats over a charging Doug and scores with two armdrags. Hart with an armbar tags in Michaels who comes off the top with a double axehandle to Doug. Michaels grabs an arm but Doug forearms him down. Doug talks more trash to Teddy on the apron before tagging in Danny. Michaels is the recipient of boots from both Bashams before Danny drives his head into the corner and lands a chop. Michaels off the ropes, botches a duck underneath instead crotching Danny and rallies with punches. Michaels off the ropes charges into a clothesline. Danny asks Michaels if he wants to quit, delivers a boot and tags in Doug. The Bashams deliver a delayed vertical suplex. Doug with boots, nearfall. Danny tags back in, chops Michaels, snapmare, rear naked choke applied. Michaels tries to punch free, Danny throws him down then walks over him. Danny with a Vader Bomb from the second rope and Michaels gets his foot up. Danny tags Doug who misses a charge in the corner and Michaels makes the hot tag to Hart. Hart climbs in over the top rope and delivers forearms/punches to both Bashams. Dropkick sends Danny through the ropes. Doug reverses Hart off the ropes, Hart comes back with a crucifix into a reverse DDT for a one count. Doug reverses into the ropes again, Hart makes a blindtag steps over Doug but Danny sends him flying to the outside with a backdrop and Hart lands hard on his feet on the floor. Back inside Doug grabs Michaels and performs a dropdown attack/facebuster before the Bashams dish out a double team Brain Damage and Doug covers for the 1-2-3. Shannon Moore vs Orlando Jordan
Shannon has new Gladiator gear according to Steve. This one is a non-title bout. Steve again calls Orlando the greatest athlete on SmackDown! and Josh says he's US Champion for a reason and can get it done on his feet, on the mat and in triple threat whatever that means. Just call the action Josh. Orlando with a headlock to start. Orlando punches Moore in the head for good measure. Moore sends Orlando off the ropes. Orlando shouldertackles Moore. Orlando makes the cabinet signs, misses an elbow off the ropes, Moore connects with a deep armdrag into an armbar. Orlando backs Moore to the corner, knee to the gut. Irish whip, Moore floats over a charging Orlando and backflips before scoring with another armdrag and armbar. Orlando forearms free, Moore off the ropes, ducks Orlando, Orlando catches him a second time though and dumps him with a throwaway slam. Orlando with a kick and punch before stomping a mudhole in the corner. Swinging neckbreaker by Orlando followed by elbowdrops gets him a two count. Orlando with a snapmare drives a boot to the back of Moore and applies a rear naked choke. Moore to his feet tries to punch free, Orlando with a knee, Irish whip. Moore dodges a clothesline in the corner, Orlando counters Moore's roundhouse, delivers jabs and clubs Moore down. Orlando boots Moore in the face, picks him up, Moore fired off the ropes, Moore surprises Orlando with a spinning heel kick. Moore ducks Orlando, Moore off the ropes takes down Orlando with a forearm. Moore with a clothesline. Moore bounces Orlando off the ropes, Moore boots Orlando's chest, Moore connects with a Mooregasm which gets a two. Orlando reverses an Irish whip but charges into a boot. Moore comes off the top rope with a corkscrew moonsault 1-2-kickout again. Moore gets Orlando to his feet, ducks Orlando, Moore off the ropes Orlando catches in a spinebuster. Orlando picks up Moore and drives him face first into the mat with a reverse Russian leg sweep for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: ORLANDO JORDAN.

JBL shows no class as normal and insults ECW, Paul Heyman and all Wrestling fans on SmackDown! with a heavily edited promo which was still totally disrespectful to ECW before making short work of Nunzio in an ECW rules match. My take on this is that WWE are watering ECW down so bad and making them look like jobbers and with all the WWE wrestlers now appearing it's just like another invasion storyline. Just make it an ECW show like Shane Douglas has, you can have an invasion show down the line if you want to, just let ECW have its day and sign Raven, Terry Funk and Joey Styles for the show as they were a big part of ECW. By the way JBL, Lance Storm is, was and always will be a better wrestler and entertainer than you. Brian Gerwirtz (who scripted JBL's promo) should take permanent leave as he's a horrible writer. Remember Katie Vick. The man should be shown the door. Just my opinion but I'm sure many people agree with me. Sorry rant over.

Paul London vs Akio vs Chavo Guerrero (Triple Threat Cruiserweight Title Match)
All three with their customary entrances. Josh notes Akio has taken time out of his Movie career and is focused on becoming Cruiserweight Champion. Steve says he'll ask Akio for a movie role if he becomes champion. Chavo suggests he and Akio work together against London as London sizes up his two opponents. London starts by forearming Chavo down then booting the gut of a charging Akio then clubbing the back. London forearms Akio, Akio reverses into the ropes and Chavo cuts off London and shoves him down. Chavo and Akio boot London, double backelbow off the ropes for London. Chavo taunts London. Chavo and Akio with some more shots before London is the victim of a double suplex. Akio pulls Chavo off of a cover at one. Code of Honor between Chavo and Akio no Akio boots Chavo and a martial arts side kick puts him down. Akio with boots to Chavo in the corner. Akio knee to the gut, Chavo reverses a whip into London who backdrops Akio, Akio lands on the apron and London forearms him and turns to Chavo. Chavo ducks London's swing and runs him into the ropes where Akio drives his head into London's gut. Akio vaults in over London into a sunset flip on Chavo as Chavo German suplexes London who rolls out of the ring. (nice spot) Akio has the pinfall 1-2-kickout by Chavo. Akio works on Chavo with more kicks in the corner. Akio chokes Chavo with his boot as we go to an..........................................................
ECW One Night Stand promo (Sky Sports 1 Next Sunday at 1am for the UK) followed by Commercial.
We're back and Akio is choking Chavo near the top rope. Akio goes to the top rope and hooks Chavo in a headscissors, whilst hanging back on the outside. London breaks it up with a kick to Akio's chest and Akio drops to the outside. London slingshots back in and into an Oklahoma roll on Chavo for two. London with a kick, unleashes forearms to Chavo but Akio attacks London from behind. Akio with a martial arts kick to London gets him a two count. Akio with an Irish whip on London, Akio charges but eats elbow. London with a Mushroom stomp on Akio. London goes to the top attempting the 450 but Chavo cuts him off with punches. Chavo goes up and beats the back of London. Akio leaps up with a high kick that drops Chavo to the canvas. Akio punches and uppercuts London. Akio punches and goes up, London tries to punch back but Akio counters them and executes a superplex which has an effect on both men. All three men are down as a count is laid on. Chavo rolls into a cover on London at six but London gets out at two. Chavo puts the boots to both men and smirks sensing victory is close. Chavo picks up Akio and uppercuts him down. Chavo picks up Akio, Akio attempts a spin kick but Chavo ducks and nails a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two. London is back on his feet, Chavo boot to the gut, lifts for a suplex, London slips behind Chavo and hits a dropsault and he lands on top of Akio 1-2-no. (that was another awesome spot) London goes to pick up Akio and punches him but he sees Chavo. London kicks Chavo and lands forearms. Chavo reverses London into the ropes and Akio throws him over the top rope to the floor. Chavo charges and shoves Akio outside too. Chavo delivers a pescado to both men outside. The crowd eat it up as Chavo smirks again and rolls Akio back in as Josh says Chavo has had control for the last 3-4 minutes. Blatant exaggeration of the timescale there Josh. Chavo goes to get on the apron but London grabs Chavo's foot. Chavo pushes London off with his boot but this allows Akio to club Chavo's back. Akio goes to suplex Chavo back in, Chavo floats over Akio, Chavo ducks Akio's swing, boot to the gut and here comes the Gory Special no London is back in and he nails Chavo with a crescent kick. Chavo drops Akio and falls to the mat himself as London rolls into a cover, hooks the leg and gets the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner and still Cruiserweight champion of the World: PAUL LONDON. Awesome match to take Velocity home this week and a definite Velocity Match of the Year candidate.
