Paul Heyman was named as the new OVW writer earlier today, until a replacement for Jim Cornette is found. Although Heyman will not be writing the show entirely by himself, he will be a major component of the creative in the company. Heyman was actually present at the OVW tapings last week when the Cornette incident took place, but was not anywhere nearby backstage when the "slapping" began. We're told this is a temporary deal just for the time being, until a replacement is found.
