Welcome aboard one and all. Velocity was on earlier today and I didn't realize. I caught the last half hour then watched all of Heat so credit to the first two matches on Velocity go to Luke Barasic of WrestlingObserver.Com. Right on with the action.
Paul London (c) vs. Nunzio
They shake hands to start. They exchange armwringers early before London takes control with an armdrag and then hanging on with an armbar. Nunzio makes it to
the rope and, back up, they both exchange hammerlocks. Nunzio uses some leverage to get a 2 count, which London reverses into a 2 count of his own.
London now gets whipped into the corner, but connects with a mushroom stomp for 2. Nunzio heads out for a breather, but London sends him back in. London, from
the apron, with a slingshot Oklahoma roll for a 2 count. London now misses a corner charge, allowing Nunzio to deliver a back suplex for 2. Nunzio with a
vertical suplex fore another 2. Nunzio now applies a headlock, but London escapes it and rolls up Nunzio for 2. Nunzio pounds away on London for a 2
count of his own. Nunzio follows a snapmare with another headlock. London breaks out of it and delivers a northern lights suplex for a 2 count. London
now with a fallaway slam into a pinning combination for yet another 2 count. London now drives Nunzio into the corner and delivers a dropsault. Nunzio again
heads out for the ring to regroup, but London connects with a springboard crossbody to the floor. London rolls Nunzio back in and gets a 2 count. Nunzio
with a rollup for 2. Nunzio attempts a Sicilian slice, but London catches him and sends him to the mat. London now heads up top and delivers the London
calling (shooting star press) for the 1-2-3. They were given some time and it was a good match. Here is Your Winner: PAUL LONDON.

Funaki vs. Frankie Kazarian
Kazarian starts with a side headlock and, when Funaki shoves him into the ropes, a shoulderblock. Funaki with a leg sweep for a 1 count. Funaki with a couple of
arm drags into an armwringer. Funaki works over the arm of Kazarian for quite some time before sending him into the corner. Kazarian leapfrogs out of the
corner and takes Funaki down. Kazarian works over the neck of Funaki before delivering a swinging neckbreaker for a 1 count. Kazarian sends Funaki into the
corner and follows a corner clothesline with a low dropkick for a 2 count. Kazarian attempts a neckbreaker, but Funaki blocks it and instead connects with
an enziguri. Both men are down. Back up, Funaki nails a bulldog for a 2 count. He follows a dropkick with a crossbody for another 2. Kazarian sends Funaki
into the corner, but Funaki elbows his charging foe. Kazarian blocks Funaki's attempt at a tornado DDT, but can't stop a fisherman's suplex, which scores
another 2 count for Funaki. Kazarian with a back suplex release, which looked quite nasty, followed by an implant DDT for the 1-2-3. Kazarian once again
tells us that he is the future, and the future looks good. Here is Your Winner: FRANKIE KAZARIAN.

MNM w/o Melina vs Stevie Lee & Scotty Sabre
MNM have faced Lee before. Melina is on a publicity shoot this week. She was on SmackDown! though? We pick up pre match comments from MNM made earlier in the back. Mercury confirms Melina's absence but says they're on Velocity to show the whole world they're the greatest tag team of all time. Nitro concludes saying they're sexy. Mercury begins with Sabre. Mercury delivers a knee to the gut and clubs Sabre down off the ropes before booting, picking him up and holding him as he tags in Nitro. MNM take it in turns to boot Sabre before Mercury throws him down. Nitro covers for two. Nitro with mounted punches on the canvas and a boot to the back. Nitro holds Sabre in a front facelock as Mercury tags in. Double whip and double backelbow off the ropes by MNM. Mercury chokes Sabre with his boot before posing and missing a kneedrop that allows Sabre to make the tag. Lee hammers Mercury into the corner and attempts mounted punches but Mercury with an inverted atomic drop beats on the fallen Lee with punches then argues with the referee. Lee is taken to the MNM corner and Mercury places a leg in the ropes then kicks and drops his weight down onto it. Mercury treads on it, tag to Nitro who vaults in onto Lee's leg. Nitro drops down onto the leg and twists. Mercury tags in and MNM both legdrop the leg and midsection of Lee. Nitro walks over Lee to get out of the ring and Mercury applies a single leg grapevine. Mercury goes to re-apply but Lee flicks him off with his boot and limps into a tag. Sabre jumps in and throws punches at Mercury. Sabre fires up runs the ropes, Mercury ducks and Sabre charges into a waiting Nitro superkick as Mercury kicks Lee out of the ring. MNM deliver the Snapshot to Sabre and Mercury covers for the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: MNM. Post match MNM stomp on Lee and give him a Snapshot.

Hardcore Holly vs Simon Dean
Holly out to a good pop. Simon comes out with mic in hand. Simon introduces himself to Holly and says he believes in him. Simon says he knows Holly has a short fuse but he wants to make him an offer and there's no harm in that? Simon smirks. Simon gives Holly the chance to leave and says he should worry about getting in better shape than wrestling him. Simon runs down Holly's body some more until Holly slaps him and Simon retreats outside. Simon gets back in and extends his hand and as Holly deliberates Simon boots the gut. Holly reverses into the ropes and a backbodydrop sends Simon outside again. Simon gets in again and both lockup and jostle in the corner. Holly counters a punch with one of his own and unloads on Simon with a chopfest that sends Simon into the opposite corner and then yet again outside. Simon yells at the referee to back Holly up and he gets in between both men as Holly steps outside and then again as both step onto the apron. Sneaky Simon drops down and pulls Holly down and sends him backfirst into the ringpost. The referee ushers Simon away but Simon clubs the back before putting Holly back in. Simon gets in drops an elbow on the back and covers for a two. Simon kicks, punches, knees and forearms Holly's back on the canvas and in the corner. Holly tries to chop back but Simon chops and punches Holly to his knees then delivers a back suplex (just) for a botched two count. Simon applies a chinlock/camel clutch on the canvas. Holly tries to punch free but Simon clubs the back and Irish whips Holly. Simon chops and punches and Irish whips again. Simon swings a leg but Holly counters into a half nelson slam. Simon gets up first kicks Holly then pulls him up and clubs the back. Simon runs the ropes Holly ducks then takes Simon down with a backelbow. Holly with two shoulder tackles then bounces Simon off the ropes into a powerslam for two and Holly is favouring his back. Simon off the ropes again this time into a Holly dropkick and another two count. Holly still holding his back goes up top and hits Simon with a clothesline for another two. Simon crawls to the corner and wants mercy. Holly advances and Simon grabs the trunks sending Holly into the second turnbuckle. Simon drops his weight onto Holly's back from the second rope. Simon tries again but Holly catches and turns him round on his shoulders. Simon grabs the ropes but Holly brings him to the centre of the ring and delivers the Alabama Slam. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: HARDCORE HOLLY.
