The results of the Oratory Writer Search are in. A few days ago we posted the columns of the finals, you've read them and so have our judges and we now have a winner of the Oratory Writer Search.
Final tally:
Mike Sawaryn (mikesawaryn@hotmail.com) - 3 votes
Enrique Molinero (enrique_molinero@yahoo.com) - 2 votes
CMG (christophergow2002@yahoo.co.uk) - 1 vote
That means Mike Sawaryn is the winner of the Oratory Writer Search and has earned himself a spot as a full time Oratory writer, effective immediately. Congratulations to Mike on a hard fought and well earned victory. We look forward to seeing you join our staff right away.
To Enrique and Christopher, we hope that both of you are encouraged by how you did in this tournament and that you pursue your desire to be an Oratory writer by contributing columns in the Reader's Columnist Corner section of our forums. Truth be told, each of you is very close to being hired in the near future if you show us the same consistency to writing that you showed us throughout this search. So please, don't stop writing.
Also, as we end the first ever Oratory Writer Search, I want to encourage ANYBODY out there that wants to write about wrestling for the Oratory (and Rajah.com now too, don't forget ) to check out our Reader's Columnist Corner section. Just sign up for our Forums at http://www.oratoryweb.net/oforums and post columns in the Reader's Columnist Corner. You will be able to get feedback directly from mainpagers and OWS judges like Matt Seagull, Scott Newman, Ian Weinstein and Chris Brosnahan among others and you will only get better.
Congratulations again to Mike Sawaryn.
Thanks for reading.
